00:00There's a new attraction in Intramuros that will be opened
00:03along with the opening of the Day of Freedom tomorrow.
00:06Let's find out what it is in the first news of Darlene Kaye.
00:15Intramuros is one of the most historical places in the Philippines.
00:19Every week, 50,000 tourists come here to worship and throwback.
00:25And from June 12 or the opening of the Day of Freedom,
00:29there will be a new attraction here,
00:31the Centro de Turismo Intramuros,
00:34which is an interactive museum and tourist center.
00:37The intention is to go back to our roots,
00:39learn the history of Intramuros.
00:41The center was built in the former San Ignacio Church
00:44that was destroyed during World War II.
00:46In this guided tour, we will tell the history of Manila.
00:49You will also see ancient buildings and ancient religious images.
00:53There are also QR codes that you can scan on your cell phone.
00:58Here, you will be able to watch educational videos
01:01so that you can learn other important information
01:04while touring this museum.
01:07We want it to be an immersive experience for all our visitors.
01:11The sculpture of the famous artist Leroy New is also included,

01:43Starting on Wednesday, this Centro de Turismo opens every day
01:46from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
01:49Next to the center is the Museo de Intramuros.
01:52A part of a former convent of Jesuits costs P75.
01:58Some of the original structures such as the water tap and well are still here,
02:03as well as various artifacts, paintings, and collections of saints.
