00:00 Well, here we are at Billboard Latin Women in Music 2024 with Juliana, one of our performers.
00:06 Tell us, what are you going to do tonight without telling us? Tell us without telling us.
00:11 Tell us without telling us.
00:13 Well, tonight I am one of the Latin American artists invited to participate in the tribute
00:19 of which I believe is one of the most incredible artists that has had the history of music in the world,
00:25 not only in Latin America and one of the main reasons why many of the women who have passed through this carpet
00:31 decided to make music. So I am deeply happy to sing a song that speaks of Latin America,
00:38 a hymn for us, so I am very excited. I can't say more because if I keep talking, I'll reveal everything.
00:44 Well, let's see if you don't reveal it with this question, because obviously tonight we have
00:50 renowned artists, emerging artists, we are celebrating all the women in music.
00:55 What is something that you admire about this tribute? This precise tribute in which you are going to do a tribute.
01:02 Her ability to be integral, I think mainly, is a woman that one saw doing absolutely everything
01:09 of the same quality as the previous one and I think her tenacity, her ability to get up
01:16 as many times as necessary to be able to continue doing what she loved.
01:20 For me that is a reason for a lot of inspiration and a lot of respect.
01:24 Juliana, you have an album, Mar Adentro, I think it's called. The album came with a book that shows
01:30 your side as an author. Tell us about this project, book and album.
01:35 Well, in fact I came dressed with this super outfit of the colors of the sea of San Andrés.
01:41 San Andrés is a magical island of my country Colombia and Mar Adentro is my third studio album,
01:46 which is not just an album, it's a book. It's a love story that is told through songs.
01:50 So there are seven songs for the seven colors of the sea of San Andrés.
01:53 If you like very romantic music and you also put it in a movie, a story, you have to hear Mar Adentro.
02:00 Well, Juliana, thank you very much for sharing with us and enjoy your night.
02:03 For you, our night. Thank you for being here.
