00:00My name's John, I'm 31 years old and I live in Sedgwick just outside Waterhampton.
00:06So when I first heard about the Tiki Prices I was just on Instagram, just sort of scrolling through as you do.
00:11I got a lot of sort of walls and media people on Instagram.
00:16I saw a post that was released by one of the sort of Walls fan pages and I read it.
00:21My instant feeling was just disappointment I guess, I just felt sort of just ashamed of what the club had done.
00:29So sort of straight away after the board's decision to make the changes I understood what would happen with the fans.
00:35I think most Walls fans that are sort of dedicated would know what the fans would do at that time.
00:40And Waterhampton and the Black Country and the club, the passion that's here for the club is huge.
00:45So I knew that the fans would get together and sort of protect each other I guess with the Tiki Prices.
00:50And that's what they've done, there was banners outside the club, social media went berserk as everybody saw,
00:55which was understandable and it's obvious that would happen.
00:58And I think the fans ultimately getting together and this large delay in people renewing is probably what's kicked the club into thinking
01:04we need to do something here and we need to meet with the fans and act on that.
01:07So I knew the club would make a decision, I knew they would do something.
01:10I think they would have been crazy not to do anything just because of the backlash that's happened.
01:14So that doesn't surprise me.
01:16I think what they've done is just a half measure essentially.
01:20I think freezing the prices for one season is basically saying well the year after next the prices will go up dramatically.
01:25I think that's pretty obvious that's what will happen.
01:27I think freezing the children's prices is great because ultimately the longevity of the club is based on the young fans.
01:32I think the club would be silly not to think that.
01:35I just think not changing the disabled fan prices is something that is ludicrous.
01:40With how the club promote inclusivity and support for disabled people
01:44and then to do that to the fans that go up to the ground and follow the club just seems bizarre to me and it's disappointing.
01:51As a fan I don't feel I've been listened to.
01:54I mean the ticket prices for adults are what they are.
01:57The club have blamed it on other clubs increasing their prices.
02:00Wolverhampton is the second highest unemployment per person of any city in the country.
02:04So I don't feel that's fair.
02:05We can't be based against clubs that are in Birmingham or London for example or Brighton etc.
02:10I don't feel the fans as a whole have been listened to.
02:14Even with freezing the children's prices the adult ticket is still high
02:19so there's still going to be children that aren't able to go because that price rise is so high.
02:23The elderly tickets.
02:25I mean there's groups of fans that have been going 50, 60 years plus to Molineux
02:30and showing dedication throughout Ligue 1,
02:33throughout all the sort of demise of the club throughout different decades in time
02:38and then now they've got to this point and they've just been completely stung.
02:40There's not sort of any reversal on that from what I can see.
02:43So it's just a feel of disappointment really.
02:45I don't feel the fans that could probably benefit from the tickets being reduced or reverted
02:51they're not the ones that are having them reverted in my opinion.
02:53So it just doesn't feel right.
02:55My name's Ron Hodgson, I'm from Wensfield
02:59and I've been a Wolverhampton Wanderers fan since I was 15 panning for myself in 1969.
03:07I was in the house, the wife bought the Xpressen store back with her
03:11and I read it in there.
03:13I wasn't happy. I wasn't happy at all.
03:17The amount, because it's an acceptable thing these days
03:21that things aren't going to stop the same for long anyway.
03:25But I didn't expect them to go as much as they did.
03:28Now we're near.
03:29Still not happy because I think I'm still paying too much this season
03:33and for next season as well.
03:35I don't think it's anywhere near what it should be.
03:38But I thought this year they should have frozen them
03:42and I thought next year they should have looked.
03:45It's all about money in the club
03:48and how much money's in the club and how much money isn't in the club
03:51and they should have looked at it next season
03:54and come up with a reasonable price next season.
03:58But I don't think this has been reasonable at all.
04:02I think it's been forced up on them.
04:06I think that next season, first couple of games of the season
04:10and I think knowing Wolves fans, as we know Wolves fans,
04:13it won't be forgotten.
04:16My name is Rhys Dwyer. I'm from Dudley.
04:19I'm a home and away season ticket holder.
04:21Well, I'm a home season ticket holder and I'm going away.
04:23I was at work and I saw the email.
04:26At first I was quite disgusted
04:28because of it going from literally 6-2, 5-7, 3-5.
04:32I was quite disgusted.
04:34I think I'm happy with it now because they've been frozen for next season
04:38because the last six years they've been going up.
04:40So for myself, I have a full-time job
04:44but it's quite easy for me next season now
04:46and I'm a bit more relaxed about it.
04:48We all stuck together, you see.
04:50I've heard about all the Wolves fan groups.
04:52I've had a meeting with Geoff Shee
04:54and he's come out today with a statement
04:56that I'm going to freeze next season for the junior
04:59and then the adults as well.
