00:00Senator Francis Tolentino accused the PNP of misinforming and misleading the public.

00:06Following the arrest of two MMDA riders who served as his escorts,

00:11aside from the PNP stickers on their motorcycles,

00:14the PNP spokesperson mentioned in a press conference yesterday

00:18that the MMDA riders were wearing police uniforms.

00:21He was surprised by the senator's accusation that the PNP-HPG escorted him.

00:26Fajardo asked for forgiveness if the senator was offended,

00:29but he said that when he mentioned wearing police uniforms,

00:33he was referring to the soldier who was last seen riding a rocket as an escort,

00:37and not the MMDA escorts of Tolentino.

00:40Aside from that, Tolentino also asked Fajardo to mention

00:44that the PNP will form a multi-agency that will go against the guidelines

00:48to prosecute the illegal users of markings and marked vehicles.

00:53What is the basis of the PNP in arresting the two MMDA riders

00:57or will the PNP just continue to enforce the guidelines?

00:59Fajardo said that the two MMDA riders were released,

01:02but an investigation will be carried out in the next month.
