00:00 A Senate committee will conduct an inspection of the land of the controversial group in Socorro, Surigao del Norte.

00:11 The Senate Committee on Public Order and Dangerous Drugs is currently in Sitio Capihan in Socorro, Surigao del Norte.

00:23 This is being prepared by one of the inspectors, Senator Ronald Bato de la Rosa, of Socorro Bayanihan Services Inc.,

00:30 who is accused of various crimes, including the abuse of children,

00:36 who according to the members of the group, are being forced to get married and have children with the elderly.

00:44 The group's leader, Jeyren Scilario, alias Senyor Aguila, and other SBSI officials are currently detained in the Senate

00:54 after the Senate was cited in contempt for refusing to marry a minority member.

01:00 We expect to be heard and this problem will be solved.

01:05 We have deployed our personnel, AFP, PNP, and we have also augmented and increased our personnel.

01:23 The Senate staff has also coordinated with the municipality of Socorro for the upcoming operation.

01:30 The DSWD inspected Sitio Capihan first and according to Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla,

01:36 the DSWD found 11 child brides and 3 child grooms inside Sitio Capihan.
