A man is walking the entire UK coastline with his pet dog - a journey of 11,023 miles.
Martyn Green, 37, began his mammoth trek on March 8 - 83 days ago - and has since walked 696 miles to reach his current point in Gillingham, Essex.
Martyn started this endeavour after he suffered serious injuries in a violent street robbery.
In December 2021, Martyn was stabbed four times in Torquay, Devon, by two men who were meeting with him to buy cannabis.
The incident left him shaken up and he became isolated.
After two long years, Martyn decided he couldn't carry on like this and set himself the challenge to walk the entire UK coastline with his three-year-old Collie mix, Rolo.

00:43 Quick little video of last night's spot then.
00:46 Hope everyone's doing alright.
00:48 Overlooking a golf course one side.
00:50 In the sand dunes at Canberra.
00:53 Show you the beach.
00:56 It's not far away really.
00:58 It's absolutely fantastic here to be honest with you.
01:00 If you've never been to Canberra Sands,
01:02 get yourself down here,
01:04 because it's a sensational beach.
01:06 Look at the views over there as well.
01:09 It is unreal here.
01:10 £30 a day to park though.
01:12 I don't know about that.
01:14 I think the council are robbing people blind there.
01:18 There's me packing up all my stuff.
01:20 Bruno's waiting patiently to go.
01:22 Going to be heading down to Dungeness today.
01:26 Be entering Kent, the 6th county of the trip.
01:29 We hit the 500 mile mark yesterday,
01:31 as you're probably all aware already,
01:33 because I have mentioned it once or twice.
01:35 But yeah, I'll catch you on the next one guys.
01:37 Right, we're back. It's night 81.
01:40 Made it to Essex, which is fantastic.
01:44 There's the tent.

02:38 and that could have got absolutely plastered.

02:42 about 15 minutes ago.
02:43 So people said that the people in Essex were not very friendly,
02:47 but they're absolutely winning the race by a country mile at the moment.
02:50 I've only been here one night,
02:52 and that's the most amount of gestures ever.

02:56 because it's so nice when people are kind and do stuff for you.
