An adorable dog is believed to be the first ever pooch to climb every mountain in England.

Bentley, a nine-year-old Jack Russell, has climbed all 180 Hewitt mountains in England with his owner Jon Birtle, 55.

The pair started the challenge when they climbed Pen-y-ghent in the Yorkshire Dales and finished it on May 5 when they went to the top of Place Fell in the Lake District.

Bentley is now believed to be the first dog in the UK to do this so Jon 'gave him a kiss and thanked' him when they finally completed the challenge.
