Story Behind The Song: Ako'y Sa'yo Ika'y Sa Akin by I-AXE | OPM| OG

Jek Manuel, former frontman of the OPM band I-AXE shares how this 90s' hit came to be. The song may or may not change the way you look at heartbreak but one thing's for sure: You break a musician's heart and you'll be immortalized in a hit song.

For many of us, we'll never know what it's like to make it to the writerly impulses and lyrical genius of a songwriter. But we always end up singing along with the song written about them. (Oh you know why!)

Nobody wants a heartbreak but here we are. Unable to escape from the feels of a common shared human experience rationalized through lyrics and melody.

Step back into the 90s with Jek Manuel as he retraces the making of the song, the challenges they faced back in the day in order to get a record deal, and more about the good old days.
