00:02 - Adam is updating all of his awards for the season.
00:10 He's already making projections,
00:11 futures on award winners in almost every category
00:16 in the NFL.
00:17 Why don't we start with the Offensive Rookie of the Year?
00:22 - Yeah, and Scott, of course,
00:23 'cause we've had the draft now.
00:24 So it's time to update this stuff.
00:26 And let's look at the Offensive Player of the Year,
00:29 the AP Offensive Player of the Year.
00:30 And Caleb Williams right now is plus 160.
00:33 He's leading the pack.
00:34 In fact, he's gonna be, I'll just say now,
00:35 he's gonna be my favorite for that category.
00:37 Why?
00:38 You got Shane Waldron.
00:39 He is the Offensive Coordinator for the Bears.
00:41 The guy came over from Seattle.
00:43 He is the guy who developed Gino Smith out of the blue.
00:46 Gino Smith couldn't catch a call,
00:48 and then becomes a terrific, at least for one season,
00:51 NFL starting quarterback out of the blue for the Seahawks.
00:54 And Waldron comes over from the Seahawks,
00:56 he'll develop Caleb Williams.
00:57 They add Keenan Allen, they add Roma Dunzé,
01:00 they add Gerald Everett, a move tight end for agency.
01:03 They're loaded on offense.
01:04 DeAndre Swift at running back.
01:06 Williams is a very aggressive thrower.
01:08 I know he'll run too.
01:09 That'll be coming.
01:11 But I think Shane Waldron's gonna do a great job with him.
01:13 I like Caleb Williams at plus 160.
01:16 Jayden Daniels, the number two pick overall
01:18 for the Commanders is plus 600.
01:20 That's Cliff Kingsbury's offense.
01:22 I like it, I think he'll be good as a rookie.
01:24 But Marvin Harrison Jr., by the way,
01:26 who signed his contract today, plus 650.
01:29 The wide receiver, fourth pick overall.
01:31 - I like him. - JJ McCarthy.
01:33 What's that?
01:33 - I like him to win it.
01:35 - That's a good one.
01:36 In fact, your number's pretty good at plus 650.
01:39 The hype is gonna be big on him in training camp
01:41 with Kyler Marys, so yeah, plus 650,
01:44 I think that's a pretty good number.
01:45 JJ McCarthy, by the way, plus 900.
01:48 Sam Darnold's keeping the seat warm.
01:50 It's gonna be McCarthy,
01:51 it's gonna be early on in the season.
01:52 They've got a very good pass target group.
01:54 And one more for you, for the Giants fans,
01:57 Malik Nabors, their first round pick,
01:59 the receiver out of LSU is plus 1100.
02:03 It's gonna be hard there,
02:04 'cause with Daniel Jones coming back from an ACL injury,
02:06 you gotta question about how effective he's gonna be.
02:08 But again, my pick would be Caleb Williams.
02:11 I love that offensive scheme.
02:12 When is the last time we talked about the Bears
02:14 potentially having a high-powered offense?
02:17 Possibly never?
02:18 What are they gonna have that going for with Caleb Williams
02:20 and all that talent around him at the quarterback position?
02:23 - Well, you know, obviously I respect everything you do,
02:26 but I'll agree to disagree.
02:28 I'll believe it when I see it.
02:30 I do not buy that the Bears are suddenly
02:35 a juggernaut offensively because they got him.
02:38 I don't deny his talent.
02:40 Here's why I like Harrison,
02:42 because all he's gonna do is catch bombs from this guy,
02:46 Murray, Murray can flat out play.
02:49 He can sling it, he can run and sling it.
02:51 He can sling it on the run,
02:53 and he's gonna have that guy to throw it to,
02:55 and he is gonna score tons of touchdowns
02:58 and have a huge season and make his mark.
03:01 This other thing is just a lot of hype.
03:05 All you get, he's the number one draft pick,
03:06 so he's automatically gonna be the rookie of the year.
03:09 I don't buy that.
03:09 I think the Bears stink.
03:11 They have stunk forever.
03:13 They have stunk since 1985,
03:16 and I'll believe it when I see it.
03:19 I already know Murray can play,
03:21 and I already know Harrison can play,
03:23 and I couldn't agree with you more about neighbors.
03:25 I think he's gonna be a great receiver.
03:27 Too bad he doesn't have a quarterback
03:28 that can throw the ball.
