00:00Here he is. There was a lot of bad calls in that game on Sunday in the Steeler-Eagle game.
00:08Tomlin was asked about this yesterday. And really, Scotty, he just says, what do you want me to do?
00:13I mean, we got to play better football.
00:15I know a lot's been said about, you know, some controversial officiating calls in the game.
00:20But I just believe when you play well, those things get minimized.
00:24And when you play poorly, those things get highlighted.
00:27We're not going to hide behind those things or seek comfort relative to those things.
00:33Things like that happen week in and week out.
00:35But when you're playing well, it doesn't become a talking point.
00:38Or specifically, it becomes less significant in our eyes in terms of how the game unfolds.
00:46That's right. So there were bad calls.
00:50The one call I thought that stood out to me was Slay punching Washington.
00:54But Washington is, you know, 6'7", 300 pounds.
00:58And Darius Slay is the size of Carver High's daughter.
01:02OK, so when that guy punches him, it literally was like someone sneezing on him.
01:08Did you see him push that guy 30 yards into the wall and body slam him with one arm and control him?
01:16And when he punched him, nothing happened because he's just so enormous.
01:19So I don't want to hear about the calls.
01:21I said last night, when I was on in this game, we were playing in the semifinal.
01:27And this guy on our team was cussing out the ref.
01:29And I'm like, listen, bro, we're in a timeout.
01:32I go, he's not going to change his calls ever for you.
01:34No matter how much you cuss and yell and scream, the call's the call.
01:38Stop talking to the refs. Rebound. Take good shots. Win the game.
01:44And they listened to me and we won the game.
01:51We won the game.
