Summer is here and it's time to quench our collective thirst. Fortunately for us this year sees a plethora of beer festivals across the West Midlands where we can do just that. Whether you're a craft brew connoisseur, or scoff at anything that isn't Real Ale, we've got you covered.

00:00First up, following its highly successful debut last year, the Birmingham Craft Brew

00:10Taking place at the Custard Factory in Digbeth, it's a showcase of some of the most iconic
00:15local breweries, such as the Birmingham Brewing Company and the Indian Brewing Company.
00:21This year includes 5 hours of unlimited craft beer as well as great street food, live music
00:27and giveaways.
00:28Set here on the 12th and 13th of July.
00:34Then moving forward to September 7th, it's Sudsfest with Attic Brew, the iconic brewery
00:40which calls Sturley home.
00:42Sudsfest will take place in beautiful Moseley at the Ufcombe Centre's seasonal market, alongside
00:48plenty of amazing street food.
00:51Stepping outside of Birmingham for a moment, there's the annual Wolverhampton Camera event.
00:57This year's Summer Festival of Beer and Cider will take place at the Newhampton Arts Centre
01:02between the 25th and 27th of July.
01:09Sticking with the Black Country at the time of recording, the famous Sedgley Charity Beer
01:14Festival is still awaiting confirmation, but there's another just down the road worth mentioning.
01:19The Rising Sun Beer Festival at the Rising Sun Pub in Tipton brings together some of
01:24the finest ales from across the UK.
01:27It takes place on the 15th of June this year and offers some great live entertainment throughout
01:33the course of the evening.
01:35And the final one falls outside of summer, but for those who find themselves craving
01:40a bit more once the glory of the summer has faded, it's the Withal Beer and Cider Festival.
01:46It takes place on the 11th of October.
01:48Not much information about this one yet, but it's a much loved annual event taking place
01:54in the deepest south of Birmingham with Withal Community Club.
