00:00 Hi, my name's Stedman Green. I'm a member of the GMB and I just want to say we had a very peaceful protest, a very large protest, a very passionate protest.
00:12 The police came and we felt that the body language and the way the officers spoke to one or two members of the GMB was rather aggressive.
00:23 And we know the officers have a job to do but there is a way to go about it by being polite. There's no need to be aggressive and upset one or two of the members.
00:33 But the message is here and now, we'll keep fighting, we'll fight from the top to the very last drop and we won't stop until we reach the top and the money goes pop.
00:43 And that's the message, we'll keep fighting to the bitter end.
00:46 They spoke to one of the members and told him to get out of the road, which I thought was rather rude.
00:54 And so it upset one or two of the members. And as I said, we know the officers have a job to do but there is a way to speak to somebody, not to tell them to get out of the road.
01:04 I'm about saying is there any chance one or two of your guys can step off the road, not just get out of the road, that's rather rude and I think that would upset anybody.
01:13 If members of the security spoke to members of the public like that, they would be upset.
01:18 So you treat people the way you'd like to be treated and that means respect. If you don't give respect, then you get rejected.
