On the surface, Fragor is about entertainment, adventure, drama, and perseverance. At a deeper level, it’s a story about mental health - about the grief of growing up, which often only comes through adult trauma.

00:07 Had this deep feeling that this was going to be like a life changing thing.
00:12 Is he going to come out of it?
00:23 Can he come out of this?
00:26 Yeah!
00:27 Mick Holderup!
00:28 We just see the craziest thing.
00:30 I felt like I'd made my decisions in this whole thing.
00:34 It's only, you played your cards eight hours ago and you played the wrong one.
00:39 It was just so much pain, like my body was just totally locked up.
00:44 I couldn't paddle, couldn't do anything and I was just drifting out into the ocean.
00:50 That feeling was just like, I'm in a really, really bad situation.
00:55 The technician doing my x-ray, he was like, "Oh, it's just, I've done the x-ray, I've
01:00 done it twice and it's telling me that your spine is like, it's not one piece, it's completely
01:06 separated.
01:07 You just wouldn't be standing here if what I'm seeing is true.
01:11 So the x-ray machine must be broken.
01:19 It just landed on me like a ton of bricks.
01:26 Having my spine completely shattered, the way I viewed the world changed.
01:43 I feel really privileged that you shared that, reintroduced me to what matters.
01:50 Thank you.
