00:00 You have met with your Singapore counterparts 2 days back, so have HSR issues been discussed and any update on HSR issues?
00:08 Memang ada perbincangan dengan Menteri Pengakutan Singapura dalam pelbagai perkara.
00:13 Antaranya, I just briefly mentioned about HSR but there is nothing formal yet.
00:18 And I make it very very clear that a formal proposal about HSR will only be presented
00:26 or be discussed with Singapore after we get endorsement and approval from the Cabinet.
00:32 So far, HSR is still under the Ministry of Finance.
00:36 We are waiting for a slot from the Prime Minister to be presented to us for our assessment
00:43 on the RFI that has been carried out.
00:46 After the Prime Minister has given his statement, if the Prime Minister agrees
00:50 for the document to be presented to the Cabinet, then we will present it to the Cabinet.
00:55 So, the formal discussion with Singapore will only be done after we get the Cabinet's approval.
01:02 At this point of time, the Cabinet has not given any approval yet as far as the HSR project is concerned.
01:09 So, I told the Singapore Minister that there are some discussions ongoing within our side,
01:14 but only officially I will discuss with him once I get Cabinet approval.
01:21 What is the content of the discussion amongst the Cabinet?
01:24 We talk about connectivity between the two countries and of course we also talk about
01:28 the ongoing discussion about airspace.
01:30 There are a lot of discussions about airspace, how do we increase our capacity for both countries
01:38 in terms of our airspace management.
01:40 We want to make our airspace more efficient, especially between Semenanjung and Sabah Sarawak
01:45 because our major concern and our major issue faced by Malaysia is that we have to improve
01:53 our efficiency between Semenanjung and Sabah Sarawak.
01:55 So, this is an ongoing discussion with Singapore.
01:58 Thank you.
