00:02 - We've got a theme here on Coast to Coast today.
00:06 All of us on the same couple of guys,
00:09 including the top one that you have at your list
00:13 for Valhalla.
00:14 Why don't you start there, Davis,
00:15 'cause we've talked about Bryson a little bit today.
00:19 - All right, look, I mean, it's never, I suppose,
00:21 that fun in a major championship to be on the guy
00:24 that everyone else is on, but I basically have decided
00:27 no Scotty for me, no Rory for me.
00:30 I mean, look, I will be very happy if Rory wins
00:33 another major championship.
00:34 I think that's, I don't need to have any financial
00:36 investment to be happy for Rory.
00:38 I think Xander at 14 to one is just like,
00:41 come on, man, Xander is not winning a major championship
00:43 at 14 to one.
00:44 In fact, he's much more likely, I think,
00:47 Carver to win when he gets down to the Cantlay range.
00:49 You know, Cantlay's I think 45 to one,
00:51 that MGM, I mean, that to me feels more likely
00:53 he'll win when no one is paying attention.
00:57 Right now, I mean, the golf we have available for Bryson,
01:01 he's been awesome.
01:02 He's been very good on the live tour.
01:05 He played awesome at Augusta until the last day.
01:09 Then he just basically lost his mind Sunday at Augusta.
01:12 I don't really know what was going through his head there.
01:15 But 28 to one, I mean, this is what happens
01:18 when Scotty is priced at four to one
01:20 and Rory's priced at seven to one.
01:22 The win equity is just like gone out of the market,
01:25 you know, so we have a lot of guys
01:27 who are used to betting 20 to one who are 30 to one.
01:30 And yeah, Bryson, man,
01:31 and he's so well suited for this course.
01:34 - And look, I think that what you bring up is,
01:38 and I've talked about this a lot the last few days,
01:40 we have guys that we normally see at certain price ranges
01:45 that are so far out of whack this week.
01:49 Guys that you just mentioned, 20s into 30s.
01:51 How about guys that are usually in the 30s and 40s?
01:54 In the 70s, 80s and 90s this week,
01:58 whether it's Willie Z at 80,
02:00 Finau, I saw a hundred yesterday at one point,
02:04 you know, Jordan Spieth, who you have on that board.
02:06 Well, Jordan Spieth Davis,
02:09 and I think you can still find him
02:11 in the 90 to a hundred range at a few spots.
02:14 That's nuts.
02:15 I know he hasn't played well,
02:17 and I know we've had missed cuts in some spots,
02:19 but if he's your favorite guy, it's like, wow, look,
02:22 I'm getting a chance to bet Jordan Spieth at a hundred at one.
02:25 When did he turn 48 years old, Davis?
02:27 That's what I'd be asking.
02:29 - No, it is.
02:30 I mean, it's crazy.
02:30 You just go through and look,
02:32 and you're like, oh, Matt Fitzpatrick.
02:34 I mean, I'd bet Matt Fitzpatrick
02:36 at a major championship before at 40 to one.
02:38 I'd bet Tommy, and I'm not proud of this,
02:40 but I'd bet Tommy Fleetwood at 50 to one.
02:43 You know, I mean, Si Woo Kim, 90 to one.
02:46 Saheeth Da Gala, 70 to one.
02:47 How about Wyndham Clark?
02:49 We all loved Wyndham a month ago at Augusta,
02:52 and it's gone south for him since then.
02:54 I don't really know what the deal is with him there,
02:57 but these guys, they're so short.
02:59 I mean, you already get to like the sixth guy in the pool,
03:03 and you're looking at 30 to one.
03:04 So one of those guys I really honed in on was Morikawa.
03:07 The way I'm making sense of this course
03:10 is that guys I think are actually gonna be
03:12 fairly conservative off the tee.
03:15 I mean, obviously being long always helps,
03:17 but it does look like the rough
03:19 is going to be fairly penal, you know, fairly deep.
03:23 So there's gonna be a lot of 190 to 240 yard iron shots,
03:28 and Morikawa is like basically the best in the world
03:30 at those, and I think the only reason
03:33 we're getting this 35 to one on him
03:35 instead of him being ahead of, you know,
03:36 Ludwig or even Zander was because he'd been playing injured
03:39 for kind of like six months before Augusta,
03:42 but his last three tournaments, game strokes putting
03:44 around the green approach and off the tee,
03:47 seems like he is like pretty much 100% good to go.
03:51 And then with Spieth, I mean,
03:52 it's pretty self-explanatory with Spieth.
03:54 He just, you know, you never really know
03:57 when it's coming with him,
03:58 but you wanna be on it at this number, I think.
04:01 - Yeah, and you got the bombs there with Keith Mitchell,
04:04 kill the Keith at a buck 50 and Luke Liss double L
04:08 at 350 to one.
04:10 You gotta have a couple deep shots
04:12 as you get ready for the PGA Championship.
