A couple with a 37 year age gap say they are expecting their first baby together - via surrogate.
Gran-of-18 Cheryl, 63, and her husband, Quran Mccain, 26, met when he was 15 but insist there were no romantic feelings.
But in November 2020, Cheryl and Quran met again at a gas station whilst he was 23 - and hit it off.
Now they say they are expecting their first baby together via surrogate and say they couldn't be happier.
Cheryl, a social media influencer, from Rome, Georgia, US, said: "It was an amazing feeling to find out we were going to have a baby.
"We get to start our own family.
"I am the happiest now than I have ever been before."
Quran, an influencer, added: "I cried with tears of joy when I found out.
"This will be my very first child.
"I have never felt love like this apart from the time I got married to Cheryl."
In November 2020, Cheryl and Quran met at a gas station whilst he was 23 - and started talking about Cheryl's TikTok.
Quran complimented her TikTok and asked why she had been crying.
Cheryl said: "I explained about my TikTok video and showed him when he asked to see it – and he was very complimentary."
Cheryl and Quran would meet up twice a week to record content together and Quran told Cheryl how he was catching feelings.
Cheryl revealed how she was feeling the same and the pair started an intimate relationship in April 2021.
The pair said how the age gap wasn't a problem between them but Cheryl's children weren't impressed.
Cheryl said: "I have seven kids but I only see one of them as the others do not support our relationship.
"It hurts me, it hurts me a lot.
"They were my whole life and all of a sudden I wanted to be married to someone I had fallen in love with and they didn't support that.
"I have 18 grandchildren and I only see three of them."
Quran proposed to Cheryl on July 31, 2021, and the pair tied the knot in a small ceremony surrounded by two friends in September 2021.
Cheryl said: "We didn't invite anyone to the wedding as nobody was there for us.
"It was me, him and our two friends.
"We left everyone out and we were happy."
Quran said: "It made the day very special for us.
"We get a lot of negative comments and we don't care about them.
"We didn't make it this far caring about what people think about us.
"To keep ourselves happy we stay off the internet - we don't need that negativity."
In August 2022, the newlyweds started hunting for a surrogate.
Unfortunately, three surrogates were unsuccessful and the couple were starting to lose hope.
Quran said: "We went through a lot of emotional stress.
"It messed with our sexual love life, I had to save my sperm for the surrogate and we started missing each other's needs.
"We have started working on that now.
"As soon as we stopped the surrogacy journey we reconnected romantically."
Quran and Cheryl found out that their fourth surrogate was pregnant in April 2024 after they all went to the doctor together for the first scan.

00:00We're here picking up our surrogate, um today's gonna be a great day. This is our first doctor's
00:06appointment and I'm kind of nervous. How are you feeling baby? Yeah I'm kind of nervous.
00:13We're gonna see if she's pregnant, which we already have a pregnancy test. It's positive,
00:21so we're just verifying it to make sure. This journey has been so long so you know
00:30this is part of it. We'll get back with you when we're at the hospital.
00:37So we won't place the referral to the high-risk doctors.
00:41Yeah I was gonna ask about that. We'll get that next ultrasound and then place the referral. They
00:46usually don't like us to place them until closer to 12 weeks. So by the time you come to the next
00:51ultrasound, as long as our baby's looking good, then we'll make a referral to your treatment at
00:54that point. But you'll still see us like you normally would throughout the pregnancy on the
00:58flight.
01:08Yes we are having a baby, but Cheryl is not pregnant. That's a lot of things that y'all
01:14don't understand. We have a surrogate. A surrogate is someone who carries the baby for someone who's
01:19incapable of having children. So I have no eggs. So his sperm and a surrogate's eggs is how we are
01:30getting our baby. It's a traditional pregnancy, so we're not using Cheryl's eggs at all. Noah will
01:36not have her DNA, but the baby will call her mother. I will be the father. And I will be
01:41adopting the child when she has it. So that's basically the touch around with the surrogacy.
01:47Cheryl's not pregnant though. Y'all keep getting that wrong. I'm not pregnant. I mean I shoot the
01:52club up, but you know it don't, it missed I guess you know. So but that's not, it's okay. My eggs are
01:58dry. I don't have any more. So this is the only way we're gonna have a baby. And hey why not? I'm just excited.
02:06I'm telling you, I'm excited to be a dad. Like you just don't know. It's awesome. I'm excited too. Very excited.
02:13After that, we'll kind of space y'all closer to 12 weeks. So we won't place the referral to the
02:18high-risk doctors. We'll get the next ultrasound. Yeah I was gonna ask about that. We'll get that
02:22next ultrasound and then place the referral. They usually don't like us to place them until
02:26closer to 12 weeks. So by the time you come to the next ultrasound, as long as our baby's looking
02:31good, then we'll make a referral for you at that point. But you'll still see us like you normally
02:35would throughout the pregnancy.
