(Adnkronos) - “Questo è il terzo bilancio di impatto socio-economico di Lidl in Italia e la volontà di redigerlo nasce dalla consapevolezza di essere una realtà che nel corso degli anni è cresciuta, si è consolidata e vuole crescere ancora ancora di più. E’ importante per noi parlare di quanto anche una multinazionale possa avere una ricaduta positiva nell'economia di un Paese”. Così Massimiliano Silvestri, presidente di Lidl Italia, a margine dell’evento, svoltosi presso la Glass House di Villa Necchi Campiglio a Milano, durante il quale l’insegna della Gdo ha presentato il suo ‘Bilancio di impatto socio-economico’, realizzato da The European House - Ambrosetti, primo think tank privato italiano.

00:00What do you think about the development of the network?
00:04Surely our development, from the point of view of our network,
00:08has always been accompanied by a development and by putting collaborators in the center.
00:13From this point of view, we have now reached 22,000 collaborators
00:18who help us every day to carry out our mission.
00:22So for us, collaborators in the center, always and in any case,
00:26we are also developing training projects.
00:29Last year we activated training projects with the ITS,
00:32which allow us to hire young neodiplomats,
00:35training courses over two years,
00:37which will allow them, at the end of these two years,
00:39to enter this company at an indefinite time.
00:42Another reason for extreme pride for us,
00:44the fact that 90% of our colleagues have a job
00:50and an indefinite time contract.
00:52This is now the third edition of this report.
00:57It starts from the awareness that this is a reality that,
00:59in recent years, has grown,
01:02has consolidated itself and wants to grow even more.
01:06It is important for us to talk about how a multinational
01:10can also have a positive impact on the economy of a country.
01:14And this, both with regard to the exports of Italian agriculture,
01:17both with regard to the growth of suppliers who work for them,
01:20but also, in a positive way,
01:22to give credibility, accountability and positivity to our collaborators.
01:28Our concreteness leads us to talk first about what we have done
01:31and then to say what we want to do.
01:33But in an absolute spirit of coherence with what we have done,
01:38what we were talking about today,
01:40is to consolidate our presence in the Italian market
01:43with an investment of about 1.5 billion in the next three years
01:47to expand our sales network.
