00:00Here after winning the senior cup, how does that feel?
00:03Yeah, it feels absolutely amazing. It's what we were sort of hoping for, you know, at the start of the season.
00:09We really targeted this year, we thought we'd have a good run and good performance to be done
00:13and being in front of this crowd celebrating is just an amazing feeling.
00:16So yeah, a really good way to finish the season.
00:18I mean, a word about the crowd, it was an incredible time.
00:20Absolutely amazing, honestly. They've been brilliant all year and travelled up and down the country
00:24on Friday nights and Wednesday nights and they've just been outstanding.
00:27I thought all night they just really, really spurred us on and that was absolutely unbelievable.
00:32Just like they have been all year, I'm really grateful to them.
00:34Yeah, and it's been an incredible season. How nice is it to have a victory award at the end of the season?
00:39Definitely, yeah, that's why we played a game.
00:40We had a really big disappointment last week, myself included, for missing the last penalty.
00:44So, I was really motivated to finish strongly and I'm just really happy we did that.
00:49I thought the boys were absolutely outstanding and yeah, I'm just really pleased to get the win.
00:53Yeah, absolutely buzzing, yeah. So, so happy.
00:55I mean, it's just the rescue and the season element of that tonight.
00:59I think we knew the other night we were so disappointed.
01:02We played so well and probably deserved more in the semi-final.
01:05And you kind of look back and think, you know, 61 games and you want to rescue it with something.
01:10Do you know what I mean? And tonight, the boys are an experienced group and they had the bit between their teeth.
01:14And I think, you know, I fancied us tonight.
01:16I just fancied us that, you know, sometimes you're in the changing room and you can see it in everyone's faces
01:21that they really wanted that.
01:23And it was the perfect performance. I thought it was outstanding.
01:251-16, management team, everyone played their part.
01:29It was a brilliant performance.
01:31Yeah, and you had the support of an incredible crowd.
01:33They were brilliant that season.
01:34They are, yeah.
01:35Tonight, how do you predict this?
01:36Absolutely brilliant, yeah.
01:37Couldn't, you know, couldn't have worked out better this season.
01:39To finish here at this ground, in this competition that we haven't won for 50 years almost.
01:43And they've been outstanding this season.
01:46I think we've got a real collective spirit at the club.
01:49Supporters, players, management.
01:50And it works really, it works really well when everyone's on the same page, so.
01:55Yeah, and is it relaxing now?
01:57No, I mean, I don't know yet.
02:00I was said that I'd retire after winning this one, so, yeah, we'll have to have a think.
02:05But, yeah, I mean, it was, yeah, definitely a little bit of a breather.
02:07It's very hard on the family doing this, especially 6-2 games.
02:11It's a challenge for everyone.
02:13I think that was our 135th moment together this year as a group, which is a lot of time, do you know what I mean?
02:19So, yeah, just have a bit of a breather, work out what we're going to do and go from there.
