00:17child has a disability or if you receive certain benefits. But now, 15 hours of free childcare
00:24a week is available for eligible working parents of two-year-olds. Furthermore, from September,
00:29the 15 hours of free childcare a week will be extended to all children from the age of
00:34nine months. Then, from September 2025, eligible working parents with a child from nine months
00:39old up to school age will be entitled to 30 hours of childcare a week. Eligibility of
00:44parents is dictated by them earning less than £100,000 a year and earning a minimum of
00:49a 16-hour working week wage. But a recent Watchdog report recently stated that only
00:54a third of local authorities are confident that they will have enough childcare places
00:59for September.
