00:03 - I don't think it's sheer incompetence.
00:04 I think the NBA is the one league.
00:07 Although I will say, I think Major League Baseball
00:10 is right there with them.
00:12 Each league is different.
00:13 It's always gonna be different scenarios.
00:16 But the NHL isn't really a personal league.
00:21 You know what I mean?
00:22 Like the referees, they're not calling penalties
00:25 'cause they don't like you.
00:27 They can't really do it, they won't do it.
00:30 And I know like Kim Peel did it
00:33 and he ended up getting kicked out of the league for it.
00:35 Right?
00:36 When the dude on the Predators asked him,
00:39 "What did you call a penalty on me for?"
00:41 And he goes, "Because I felt like it."
00:43 Well, that's the problem.
00:45 But, and listen, I'm not saying that there's not dynamics
00:48 and stuff like that, but,
00:49 and I do maintain that the NHL referees
00:52 are the best at what they do.
00:53 Out of all the four pro sports,
00:55 I think they're the best at the business.
00:56 And that's an interesting conversation and it's all right.
