John Rich | Barstool Rundown
Transcript
00:00Rundown is Tuesday, May 7th. It is me and two of what many people here at Barstool have
00:10called the craziest motherfuckers in the company. We have Dante the Don, fresh in from Chicago,
00:16and we got Billy Football. And boy, do we have an aftershow for you today. But we're
00:20gonna get through some topics first. First thing I want to talk to you guys about is
00:22DraftKings. Basketball fans, we've seen it all this season. Rookies rise to the top.
00:27Kings leaving their legacy on the court and there are just a few weeks left to get in
00:30on the action. Right now, you can get in on all the action with DraftKings Pick 6, a brand
00:35new way to play daily fantasy sports. All new customers who play $5 will get $50 in
00:40Pick 6 credit. Download the DraftKings Pick 6 app now and sign up with code RUNDOWN only
00:46on DraftKings Pick 6. The crown is yours. First thing we got to talk about today, people
00:51are screaming at each other in the office over this, going nuts. Vibs lost his goddamn
00:55mind. The Pacers got royally fucked by the refs in the last 12 seconds of the game. Miles
01:01Turner got called for a moving pick, which then turned the ball back over to the Knicks,
01:06who ended up winning the game 121-117 in the second round of the NBA playoffs. They take
01:11a 1-0 lead. Billy and Don, what are we thinking? Did we watch? I'm sure you saw the pick.
01:17Of course, yeah. I mean, game was unbelievable. I mean, the playoffs have been either blowouts
01:25like the Denver game or have been down to the wire, awesome series so far. That specific
01:33play, I mean, technically his back foot wasn't planted, so yeah, moving pick. But my problem
01:42is that shit has gone on every game, all game, all season, multiple seasons. And it's like
01:50the Caitlyn Clark shit in the women's tournament, like blowing a whistle on a play like that
01:57when you don't blow it any other time ever, that's the problem. Just doesn't make any
02:03sense. It has been going both ways, though. Those calls, they're not specific to any team.
02:09I mean, the Knicks, I haven't really seen the Knicks ever be good in my lifetime. I
02:16don't want to get my hopes up now, so I'm watching it and being like, oh wow, the Knicks
02:21are winning great series. I was born in 1999. I missed the late 90s. The only thing I can
02:28remember is that one Eastern Conference, I don't even think it was the Eastern Conference
02:32final, it was the Celtics vs. the Knicks when I was in 6th grade. That was awesome. And
02:37then Lynn Sandy, the rest has kind of been like, well, whatever. And you just kind of
02:42lose base. But I'm keeping track of them this year. Brunson is a beast. And I'm kind
02:46of like, hey, wait a second, how far can this really go? They can't beat the Nuggets.
02:51They're fun to watch. They're really fun to watch. The fan base is obviously like, me
02:56growing up, and you too, it's always been like the Knicks are the lovable losers, right?
02:59Most New York teams, Sands, the Giants, I've had no issue with them, lovable losers. The
03:04problem with this call is, it's obviously Tiki Tak. Yeah, he wasn't completely planted
03:11down. But they're at home. They're going to get the call. And whoever wins this series
03:17is just going to get fucking steamrolled by the Celtics, so what does it really matter?
03:20Right? We're walking into the finals, the Celtics. Agreed. But dude, that scene last
03:25night at Madison Square was awesome. Like, fucking Marbury was there, going nuts. All
03:32the old Knicks legends were there. Half the Yankees team was there. They had an off night.
03:37I mean, the place was going crazy. It was game one of the semifinals? Yeah, conference
03:44semifinals. I mean, I don't know. I enjoy watching them. Brunson's playing out of his
03:51mind. Like, I can't remember a guy with ice in his veins like this since, I mean, I don't
03:58even know, like, Paul Pierce. Imagine if he, well, I mean, let's not compare Brunson to
04:03Paul Pierce here. I mean, let's not go nuts. I can't, I mean, Gaz said it best. I mean,
04:07Brunson's had a good month, right? He's been wiped out. You don't care about the Knicks
04:12all day. I don't want to jinx, like, I don't want to say some crazy shit, because I'm like
04:16a Knicks fan where, like, it's kind of like, okay, like, just watch and enjoy it, and then
04:20if, like, don't get too invested. That's my relationship with the Knicks. They're like
04:25a girl that breaks your heart, like, every single weekend. I got a question for Knicks
04:30fans. Maybe you guys will know. How does an Italian guy, and John Rich changed this
04:36on the notes. How does an Italian guy, a clearly Italian guy like DiVincenzo spell his name
04:43with an O? Dante with an O. How does that happen? He spells his name with an O? No,
04:50it's D-O-N-T-E. Oh, Dante, yeah. Yeah, like Culpepper. Oh, like, yeah, yeah. No, Culpepper
04:56Wait, what are you saying? I don't understand. No, it's D-O-N-T-E. How does that work? How
05:01does that happen? You'd think he'd have a little accent mark over it. He might not,
05:05he might have an Italian last name. He kind of looks like he could be light-skinned. Can
05:10I say something about Italians and please don't get offended? Most of the people who
05:15I know who identify as Italian are half Irish, but they just ignore the Irish part, which
05:19is somewhat offensive to me. Are you half Irish? You should come to Chicago. It's all
05:24half and half, right? No, no, but Chicago is like, they'll be like a quarter Italian
05:29and say they're Italian. And they get this weird obsession with Sicily. Really? Like
05:35everyone's like, I'm not Italian, I'm Sicilian. And they have like red hair. That's everywhere.
05:40Weird. But the funniest thing is. Are you denouncing Sicilian Americans right now? No,
05:45they're just not a group of people you really want to brag about being. Why? Because of
05:50the whole organized crime thing? Yeah, and they're fine. I mean, Sicily is a shithole
05:54besides like Termina. Termina is unbelievable. The rest of Sicily, not that great. Where's
05:59Sicily? The boot? It's what they're kicking the boot. It's the ball. It's the ball. I
06:03mean, I saw this sign once that said, I'm Italian Irish, Irish, Irish temper, Italian
06:11attitude. And it's just like, I'm just like, that is a great sign. We got the Timberwolves
06:17and the Nuggets. Timberwolves take a 2-0 lead, 106-80, which is, I think, shocking.
06:22I was shocked by this game. Did you see what Djokic said before the game? Like, how are
06:29you going to play against the Timberwolves? And he basically was like, we need two of
06:33me. I need to clone myself. And like, that's just a shot at the rest of the team. That's
06:38like, I've never seen Djokic get like cocky like that. And then who threw the ball? What
06:44happened with the ball? Jamal Murray chucked the ball at the ref and threw a heat pack
06:48at the ref. He threw a heat pack from the thing. He's not getting word on the street
06:52according, this will probably, we'll have better information on this by the time this
06:55comes out, but word on the street is that he's going to get fined, but he's not going
06:58to be suspended. Yeah, Pat McAfee said their sources think he'll be fined, but not suspended.
07:03You can't take a guy like that out of a series because then the series is over. So that everyone
07:08loses. The fans lose more than anybody. I'm okay with them, with them letting the guys
07:13get upset. And I think there does need to be a little bit more leeway and they need
07:16to be toned down with the suspensions because when there's emotion on the sideline or in
07:20the game and it spills over the next game, all that does is drive numbers and make people
07:24want to watch. Agreed. That's all it is. Bruins smoked the Panthers last night, five to one.
07:31Panthers were favorited too. Shocked by this too. Yeah, I know. Doesn't make sense because
07:37Boston owned Florida all season, shockingly, after getting embarrassed last postseason,
07:44first round. I think they swept them 4-0 this season and they came into this series underdogs,
07:53not just record-wise, but Vegas has them like a big time dog. And to go into Florida last
08:03night and, I mean, they looked like a totally different team coming off that Toronto series.
08:08They looked fresh, relaxed, fast. I mean, it's only been, what, two days too? Three
08:14days since the series? Yeah. They looked awesome. I just hope they save some for, I mean, you
08:20know this series is going to go deep. Yeah. I don't think a home team won one game last
08:26year these two teams played. I think the away team won every single game. Any thoughts
08:33on that, Billy? You're not much of a hockey guy, right? I'll watch it. It's great in person.
08:38For me, this is like the most eh time. Second round of the playoffs, I'm just so anxious
08:43to get to the next round. I want it to be over. Probably going to see some crazy AI
08:48photoshops coming out of this. Of what? Of the series, of some Panther on Bayer action.
08:54Hopefully it looks... Facts. Yeah. Were you offended by that? I wish the polar bear was
08:59like looking like it was enjoying it a little more. Oh, that hits close to home. No, I didn't
09:04really care. They are endangered. Polar bears are? Yeah. And that's just because of global
09:09warming. Right. Because the ice caps are melting. Exactly. Due to... I'm not sure. Sure.
09:17Shooting outside Drake's house at 2am this morning. Dante, I'm just going to let you
09:20take this one because you wrote a thesis on this. First of all, can you just give a
09:25brief like where it started and where we're at? Like a really like elevator pitch version
09:30of this and then you can talk about the shooting. My buddy's wife asked me to do this last night
09:34and I tried to summarize it quickly. It's impossible. That's why it took me 20,000 words.
09:41So who started it? Describe it. So it's all this subliminal shit, which everyone keeps
09:46pointing back to from like 10 years ago. You know, I think everyone's a little. When
09:52I say everyone, I'm saying the rappers in the rap world are. They've been pissed at
09:58Drake because he's not only been owning everybody numbers wise, popularity wise and all this
10:05money wise. Yeah. And but he like throws in little shots at everybody, which, you know,
10:11if you're king of the hill, you know, is maybe punching down some people see. But once
10:18the floodgates open with Kendrick going on this future track with Metro Boomin and just
10:25air Drake out. Was there something that prompted him to go on the track and do this? So, yeah.
10:29So Drake and J. Cole did that third person shooter song, which was awesome. And they
10:38it was more J. Cole, but they lumped themselves in together with Kendrick calling themselves
10:43like the three best rappers in the game right now. And Kendrick took, you know, was, you
10:49know, took Umbridge Umbridge with that and said, you know, I'm by myself. You guys are
10:57over there. And then, you know, he really set track and then all hell broke loose. And
11:02now all these other rappers are jumping into it, piling on Drake. And you think it's mostly
11:07jealousy? Probably. I don't know what it is. At first, I thought it was all orchestrated
11:11because I don't think rap has been this front and center in a long, long time. I mean, it's
11:19I read an article the other day, like in an election year right now, usually nothing comes
11:24close to the election and the candidates. And this Drake Kendrick thing is like 10 X,
11:34you know, on the Internet right now. It's kind of nice, too, with the with the Tom Brady.
11:38The last song or diss track, I think, dropped in the middle of the Tom Brady roast. So it
11:42got buried a little bit. But like for the past three days, it's been nice. You haven't
11:45hear anything about politics. It's just been the roast Kendrick and Drake. And that's it.
11:49You're right. If you there is the element that they think that a lot of other rappers
11:53think Drake is a culture vulture because he doesn't actually. He's a he's Canadian and
11:59he's not, you know, African-American per se. Arian Foster actually does an amazing
12:03breakdown of the whole thing on macro dosing the past couple episodes. I want to check
12:07it out. It's actually he breaks it down step by step and he has an amazing way to like
12:11paint the picture for those who aren't informed. So we fast forward to last night,
12:15two oh nine a.m. this morning. There was a shooting outside Drake's Toronto mansion.
12:20Someone actually got shot. It wasn't just like a shooting at the house or something.
12:24The victim is unknown security. Oh, there you go. So as a 48 year old security guard.
12:28Yeah, he was taken to the hospital. Serious but non-threatening life injuries. And like
12:33we said, was it random? Was it completely unrelated? Was it a fan, an overzealous fan
12:37who said, fuck this. I'm on Kendrick's side. I want to go. We don't know this security
12:41guard. I mean, I feel so bad for this guy. He probably doesn't really know. He probably
12:47works for like money is paying ten dollars an hour to sit in a little boot. He probably
12:50works for one of these security companies that aren't like Drake's private security.
12:54So he's just going to his post and assignment. He might not even know who lives in the house
12:58because that's how a lot of these gated housings work. They actually make sure they switch
13:02up who the guys are so no one can consistently stand there and like shit, like plan something
13:08like. So like these like Securitas is one of them, for example, that like work these
13:14events and stuff. So this guy's just sitting there doing the night shift. Terrible, by
13:19the way. Securitas. Why do you laugh? One of those people are just like you've used
13:25them. I didn't see anything. No, but they're fucking they're everywhere. Like you said,
13:29they work like events, but they're not Blackwater or well, they're not Blackwater. And also
13:35they're totally a lot of they're totally not gang affiliated or any sort of rap affiliated.
13:40Like this might be like a middle aged white guy who doesn't even listen to rap. And he's
13:44just sitting there in his that poor guy. You know, he doesn't give a fuck about any
13:48of this. And then he's like, really, I have to get shot before I go on my lunch break.
13:53He's not wearing a bulletproof vest. He's not even predicting anything like this happens.
13:57Are we Team Drake or Team Kendrick? Dude, I'm talking to Nikki Smokes earlier today
14:03trying to get him on our backstage podcast. And he's like vetting me like, is this a set
14:08up? Are you bringing me on to set me up? I'm like, dude, I'm in the middle of this thing.
14:13Like, I really I don't buy it 100%. I feel like there's way too much going on. And all
14:24these allegations about like, planted evidence and Drake fed this information to Kendrick
14:31on purpose so that he would rap about it and look like an idiot. You're talking about the
14:36daughter, the alleged daughter that doesn't have any that and like the ozempic prescription
14:41and stuff like that. So it's pretty bad. So supposedly, Kendrick hired or paid off
14:51somebody in Drake's camp, OVO, for info and dirt and all this. And allegedly, Drake knew
15:01about this. So through this guy, he fed Kendrick fake shit. So this guy mailed Kendrick these
15:09prescription bottles with Drake's name on it, an outfit, this black glove. It was all
15:15on the cover of not a source that I think 616 in LA.
15:23Didn't he steal? Didn't Drake steal Kendrick's van that was on Mad City, the Mad City album?
15:29Not sure. That would be pretty crazy. That would be like someone stealing Banny Woodhead,
15:34which I have actually have to. No, I think he just found a similar van. I've been having
15:39Banny Woodhead in a discreet, hidden location. You still have the original van? Yeah, I need
15:43to get that to Chicago. Maybe hit the campaign trail with him. Yeah, it's going to take a
15:48lot of work to get that thing needs a flatbed to get to Chicago. Now that the campaign's
15:52over, I got to refocus on some stuff I had to do. Bring it. We got so much room behind
15:56the office. Yeah. And that'll be a good place to have it. Like it's history. I think this
16:02is a good place to announce Chaps and I are spearheading a makeover of the back yard of
16:10the office. Oh, sweet. There was a yard there. Dude, it's huge. I thought I just wanted a
16:15little garden. I asked Big Cat last week if I could plant a garden back there. And he
16:19was like, dude, fucking redo the whole thing. And he brought me back there. It is. You should
16:24put in a pool. We're doing. So I talked to Chaps. We're going to like plant some grass,
16:29plant some trees, plant some flowers to make it look really nice back there. You know,
16:34honestly, turf like I know this sounds like turf might be better just for usage wise and
16:40maintenance. And then you can put garden. Then you can put mulch on the side of the
16:44actually not. But it would be funny to have someone as punishment to get them all the
16:46lawn. It's actually not a bad idea. Yeah. But grass is just so annoying. Plus, I don't
16:50know how much sun gets back there. It's like that's where we dumped all the hay from when
16:54we were looking for needles in the haystack. That's where all the hay is. That's where
16:57all the hay is from. Yes. I went back there. I was like, where's the fuck thing? I got
17:01stabbed with a needle after looking for needles in the haystack for an hour when we were
17:06moving all the hay out of there into the backyard. The hay is still there. Yeah, it's all
17:11around the back. I thought the construction people did that. No, I was trying to get to
17:16like a like a farm that has like retired horses because there's there's so much like
17:22so much hay there and it's feed hay. Like they got feed hay. So you should eat it. Don't
17:26end up and eat it. Donate it to like some like retired racehorse. That's good. The city
17:31city birds have been using it for Ness. It's good. Well, we'll see what happens with this
17:36Drake stuff. You know, Drake does need he needs some simply safe. OK, he needs some
17:41cameras around his place so no one gets shot. So his courtyards are getting popped in the
17:44ass. When you travel to concerns back home, nag you. Did you lock up? Did you leave a

18:36simply safe dot com slash rundown that simply safe dot com slash rundown. There's no
18:42safe like simply safe. New New York City Nightclub is making guys prove that they have
18:47fifty thousand dollars in the brink just to enter. It's called Garcon. It's opening in
18:52New York City. And like I mentioned, you have to have 50 grand in the bank to show the doorman,
18:56I assume, to get in. And this is like, I guess, the new way to vet scumbags out of your
19:02club. I don't know what it is. Dante, you're the nightclub owner here. You own places all
19:06over the country. Is it technically Garcon? Is it Garcon? I was wondering that. Yeah,
19:10it's Garcon. OK, you know, so it is Garcon. This is insane to me. Me and Dante talked
19:16about a little bit before we got on. There are a lot of members only places in New York.
19:20There's zero bond. There's so many Briani Club, Briani Briani House, Soho House. Yeah.
19:26Love the whole Dumbledore House. All this union union or union union club is like the
19:31original OG Skull and Bones one. So this is just their way of essentially creating a members
19:36only club without having people go through it. You just have to flash a bank account.
19:39No, they have to put in your car. You have a fucking one of those handheld like card
19:46readers at the door. But it pops up. It's like your ATM. It pops up your balance. It
19:52shows your balance. You got to have you got to before you go to this club, you got to
19:55put 50 grand in your checking account and say, here's my bank, my campus edge bank account.
20:00This sounds like Bank of America. This sounds like a great way to commit serious credit
20:04card fraud. I thought that, too, on a lot of people who were like hidden charges. Yeah.
20:09I mean, how so? How would you. I feel like the square, you know, scammers will have like
20:14a square and they'll like walk up to you like, boop. I feel like if you get a bad doorman,
20:18they're just gonna be robbing people left and right. Yeah. Oh, I did not know scammers
20:21were doing that. Oh, yeah. That's what happened to this. You can say it. Yeah. Nick. Nick
20:26Toronto. Oh, I think Nick's Ronnie. They have made him like just Venmo them. They're like,
20:30you're going to Venmo me right now or you're going to. Yeah. I mean, that's been going
20:33on in Chicago. They've been sticking people up and making them like Venmo or little cubes.
20:39They can go up to you and just be like, oh, I don't know that that's fucked up. It's wild.
20:43I did not know that I don't have face ID on your phone. Right. Yeah. So this place I saw
20:49I got I got a tick talk about this a few weeks ago and I looked up to verify it because I
20:55wanted to blog it and I couldn't find anything about it other than this guy on tick tock.
20:59Now it's actually started to come out that it's really happening. And Kareem blogged
21:05it today and did really well. But it's I personally from an owner standpoint. I like it and I
21:17hate it. I hate it because none of my friends would be able to come to my place. None of
21:23my friends would want to come to the place. It would be all the worst people in the world.
21:28The people you don't want at your club coming there and then just all the whores like the
21:35whores lined up like, oh, rather than have to break our way into bottle service to bottle
21:44rat, the rich guys. Now we just have to go to the club and the entire club is full of
21:49rich, rich guys. So but how do they how do they like those guys are going to want VIP
21:56service, but they're all going to be in there. It's going to be just a dude fest. I feel
22:01like, well, it's founded by women. Oh, it's founded by women. Women. So I think they're
22:07trying to be like, oh, only hot girls are allowed in the club. How are we not giving
22:10these women shit? I feel like we buried the lead, bro. It's like imagine if guys did this
22:15only only women can come to the club if they have $50,000 in their fucking checking account.
22:19Imagine the hell that would be raised. Great point. But I don't think it would be based
22:24on money. Yeah, I think we'd be like based on cock size, the 666 rule. Shout out Jordan
22:29Woodruff. Six feet, six inches. No, like if it's not like if if some rich guys got together
22:36and we're like, OK, we're going to start a club and only smoking hot like 20, 29 year
22:44olds and below are allowed in. Also, isn't that every club? Yeah, I'm going to say it
22:48would basically be like every club ever, most places. So I feel like this is the women
22:54strike back. I'm not a club yet. Just like I went to a club for my friend's birthday
23:00party because like he is a club guy and he's like, yo, do you just you never got to the
23:05club? Let's go to the clubs. I went to the club. I love it. What? You love it. You can't
23:10talk to anybody. No offense. Like like I bet your clubs are amazing, but like you can't
23:15talk to anybody. Everyone's sort of yelling at each other. Like you end up bumping into
23:20people and like can't just sit there and like music's good. Right. But then you're just
23:24kind of like, well, now you want to sit down and then no one's allowed to sit on anything.
23:29Maybe it was just that club. Probably. There's a time and place for it. Like everything.
23:34Like the people that are there every single night, they've got a problem. People that
23:40pop in every now and then, like all the Barstool Chicago guys, I see them once a month or so.
23:45They all like rotate through except Nicky's there fucking every night. Who? He smokes?
23:49Yes. Every night. He smokes. He's going to the club every night. Every night. What time
23:54does he usually leave? Dude, he rolls in at like closing time. Nicky smokes is rolling
23:59in at one, two in the morning. Twelve thirty. That's what you call a bottom feeder. He's
24:04just rolls in. I think he just pops around. I think he's got his rotation. He hits a bunch
24:09of spots in the city. But but he's again, he's fucking like twenty three, twenty four
24:13years old. I mean, it's a young man's game. You were you were probably doing the same
24:17shit. Oh, yeah. I was doing it around. We used to go to the basement of the Paramount
24:21Hotel in New York City and rip. It's on like 50 something. Wait, I know. Is that it's
24:28on like 50 something. And I forget that I spent my entire 20s in New York City and I
24:34forget for a number of reasons. Regardless, next topic, this 32 year old Massachusetts
24:39woman. I love this story so much. This is great. So she's a social worker, I believe.
24:44And what she did was she ended up faking her way onto a high school basketball team, posing
24:50as a 16 year old. After she successfully did that, she lowered her age to 13, tried to
24:57pose as a 13 year old, ended up getting caught after she transferred schools, whatever she
25:03taught at Boston English and she taught at the Jeremiah E. Burke School. Her name is
25:08Shelby Hewitt. She's 32 years old. We have a picture of her. This is a hundred percent.
25:14This woman is a serial pedophile. The picture looks 16 now, bro. She had braces put on.
25:21She went to an orthodontist and the guy was like, your teeth don't need braces. And she
25:26was like, I'll pay you to put braces on. I said, if you're going to fake it, fake it
25:31all the way. What is that? What was this woman doing? Oh, she did. I didn't. What fueled
25:36her to do this? So so nobody knows. Apparently she's got a lawyer and her trial's coming
25:41up at the end of this year. But, bro, did say, no, but listen to this. You got to get
25:45your head. She's pleaded not guilty. And she said the truth will come out. There's a reason
25:52for what she did. And the truth will come. My favorite fucking saying of crazy people
25:56ever. The truth will come out. Find out what she was up to. She was. Do you think she was
26:02trying to actually maybe she wasn't just trying to hook up with high school dudes. Maybe she
26:07was trying to hook up with teachers and expose that there. That's the most like deep fake
26:11shit I've ever heard. I mean, that is the length that she's going to. I mean, did you
26:15see what that guy Vitaly's doing? He's straight up just like assaulting people. He tricks
26:21to come meet kids and like shaving their head and beating them up. Oh, I've seen that the
26:25tick tock pedophile hunters. But we had Chris Hansen on out and about and he was talking
26:29about it. He's like, those guys need to fucking go away. But the craziest part about this
26:32is this woman right before she did this, she inherited a million bucks from some of her
26:36family who died. So it's not like, well, maybe that's it. Maybe she's just bored and she
26:40needs something to do. She's either posing like trying to like, John, can you look up
26:45what town in Massachusetts she's from? I think this will tell a lot. Wait, hold on. Let's
26:49take a guess before you go. She's from Pembroke. I'm April. Oh, dude, I don't know. She went
26:55to Nashville. Her goal is Boston English. I think she's she's probably from the South
27:01Shore, Don. If I had to guess. Revere. What do we got? Oh, she's. This is going to be
27:08so good. It's a good show. Wait, wait, scroll up. Yeah, look, scroll up. Look at her like
27:13mugshot. She looks scary. Go down. I just said she was graduated from. OK, so she went
27:20to UMass Boston, Dorchester. Oh, the dot. She's a dot. Actually, no, she's right. I
27:27wouldn't know. I did not see that coming. That screams South Shore to me. I did not
27:31dream that coming. No offense to South Shore. What is. OK, so she's got all sorts of issues
27:37it looks like. So obviously. What do you think? She just had a horrific high school
27:42experience and tried to relive it. And she became a millionaire and said, you know what?
27:47I'm going to do. I'm going to do it over. She reportedly was like an outgoing popular
27:51person in high school, according to how you get away with it. Like are like are people
27:57not seeing this like online? Like does she not have friends who are like, what are you
28:00up to today? Oh, sorry. I have high school girls basketball practice at three. I can't
28:04go to the bar. She can foster parents. She got a set of foster. You got a foster parent.
28:08Yeah. Wait a minute. What? She had foster parents. That's like that Netflix thing with
28:11the little person, Talia Grace or whatever. See her pretending like saying like, oh, I'm
28:15doing like telling your friends I'm undercover. I'm doing 21 Jump Street, dude. And like,
28:20yeah, like just maybe filming content or something, trying to like expose people like the bad
28:26parts of the foster system. I mean, she's not going to jail. There's no way she unless
28:30she fucked someone. And even if she did, she's probably not going to jail. She's got
28:33felony charges for like identity theft and identity theft of who a younger version of
28:38herself. If she if she can come up with, I'm like operating for the FBI or something like
28:44or someone tricked her into doing that. Why can't I think? Why can't I think of the name
28:49of the girl that just got out of prison, killed her mom? This is like a cross between 21 Jump
28:56Street and Gypsy Rose. Like and Natalia Grace, the little Ukrainian little person who they
29:01fucking on Netflix who like tricked her parents. She's like 40 and she like to be whatever.
29:06Didn't they make a horror movie about that orphan or some shit? Yeah. Fuck these. That's
29:13insane. All right. We got to get on to the after show here. We do have a couple things
29:17to talk about. First thing we're going to talk about. There has been a ton of buzz online.
29:21There's been some buzz in the office, whether or not Billy liked it. I think he brought
29:25it on himself when he was caught on camera expressing his feelings about the latest macro
29:30dosing thing. So, Billy, we're just going to put the show in your hands. We want to
29:34hear from you. Why did you leave macro dosing? Were you told to leave macro dosing? Where
29:40do you stand with that? I mean, it's I was just I was asked to leave. By whom? It was
29:53a group decision by them. I mean, basically what they said, I don't I wish them the best.
29:57I will never say a bad word about PFT and a lot of the people I worked with. But, you
30:03know, it just it didn't work out. Do you think that your football? How long? How many years
30:09were you on the show? I think we're getting close to three. So it was working out. So
30:15what you decided to run for office and now all of a sudden it doesn't work out. I don't
30:21know. There's definitely I mean, they had to have given you a reason. Right. And you're
30:25a football guy. So accountability, you know, is a big thing in team sports is a big thing
30:29in football. Is there something you think you could have maybe done to make them want
30:32to stick you around, have you stick around a little more? I think. Yeah, absolutely.
30:38Yeah. I think if I did less for the show, didn't speak as much. Oh, explain that. You
30:47know, just in you think you did too much for the show and you talk too much. And so
30:54it was difficult for them to get a word in. And so that's why they asked you to leave
30:59because they wanted to be the star and you didn't. That's what I know. Don't don't say
31:03that. All right. Just it's it's a complicated situation. You know, we we you know, this
31:10honestly is probably the beginning of something great. So I'm kind of excited. I like I wish
31:15the best for macro dosing. We're looking forward. We're not looking backwards. I like
31:18that. I put out three podcasts since I've gotten fired. A fourth is going to be coming
31:24out with Dante on Audio Crack. We're discussing, you know, the Boeing assassinations. We've
31:30been doing a lot of research into it. You know, two Boeing whistleblowers end up mysteriously
31:34dead, one by a self-inflicted gunshot wound, one by a weird pathogen that killed him within
31:41days. We'll get we'll get to that in a second. Hold on. Just let's just go back for one.
31:45Can I just put an asterisk on really quick? Yeah, I am not cosigning the name Boeing assassinations.
31:52I'm still not where I thought I was going to go for me. Jury is out for me. So does
31:58you leave in the show have anything to do with you having political differences with
32:02Arianne or Big T or anything? Or was it you were just showing up late and dicking around
32:06and they were like, we want to take this to a different level. You're really not where
32:09it needs to be. Let's let's part ways. I was not showing up late or dicking around.
32:13OK, that like macro dosing was something that I helped grow from the beginning. I thought
32:20of it as like a child. Like I put a lot into that show. Where are you at with Arianne right
32:25now? We had our differences about the tweet I put in the blog. I you know, they talked
32:31about today how they thought there was implications by me putting that tweet in the blog. You
32:38know, what tweet was this? It'll be on the screen. You guys can pull up. It's just there
32:44was in they said it was a group decision to have me leave. It was a group decision to
32:53have me leave that I found out when I was asked to leave. I mean, you're not going to
32:58decide for yourself to leave. Right. I know. Did you see it coming? Oh, no. Not at all.
33:07No, I was I literally the day before I was running, I ran a half marathon and then I
33:13literally with no training, no training, no training. Don't do it. That's that's like
33:17that's the craziest part of this whole story. You know why? It's not like that's not the
33:21actual running that you're going to like. That is bad. Oh, it is. It is the aftermath
33:27when your body gets destroyed because you basically take your toenails fall off. Yeah.
33:32You take two. That's the worst. Yeah. Did your nipples bleed? My nipples have been
33:35bleeding. I could probably like I have scabs on my nipples right now. It's the worst. So
33:39you are you woke up off fresh off a half marathon and I got drunk after I had yet some
33:44beers with people I ran with because of course, like, you know, you put it on your
33:48calendar and you like the prep I did was I didn't drink for like a week before.
33:54That's the prep. No, like I'm a superhuman when I do that. So did you just think like
34:0013 miles isn't bad at all? I can go out and run that the last time the longest I had
34:05ran was five miles at a turkey trot. I did over Thanksgiving where I was super hungover
34:10and in so then, you know, I'd ran I run with my dog like just to get him exercise. I run
34:17like one mile one to two miles three times a week, but that's more of a jog. I'm
34:22dragging a hundred and twenty pound American Bulldog behind me. Like that's not 13
34:27miles or any distance where I'm really pushing myself. I love how the prep is just a
34:32week of not drinking. Yeah, dude. It's actually your HRV goes through the roof. What's
34:37HRV? Heart rate variability. Damn. Yeah. So just to be clear, this was not this was
34:41not a politically motivated parting of ways on either end that what was communicated
34:46to me. I mean, so I know there's implicate like take what I think. I thought my blog
34:53was pretty fair, right? You guys like when I posted I wasn't I like was like, okay,
34:59we're all gonna be good with this. Like, wait, is that what upset people? But I think
35:03like that said, but not to the point where they would let you go from the show. That
35:07seems like a lot, right? I thought it was very I thought it was kind of vanilla. So
35:12did I. Yeah, my blog, right? Yeah, that was after I got. Oh, yeah, that was after. Yeah,
35:16that was after. So then Arian and I got into a phone argument because what was that about?
35:21It was about me using his tweet thinking I was implying that he was a hundred percent
35:26behind me leaving the show. I mean, I just was it was just kind of like. So they didn't
35:32give you did they give you a reason? Yeah, I was kind of like, we want you to leave.
35:39So I was like, OK, I mean, it is what it is. Stuff doesn't work out. Bands lose members
35:44like, you know, Animal Farm loses Snowball. Like great reference. Also, like, you know,
35:52that's great. It is what it is. All right. So we don't want to there's we're putting
35:56a button in it here, I guess. And there's nothing else you want. You said you could
35:59have done some things different if you had gone back. There would have been a little
36:02bit more accountability in certain things. We don't have to dive into that. And we're
36:05ready to move on. I know what people think. What do people think? Like, I know, like people
36:09have seen probably some of my worst days online, like think I have zero work ethic or whatever
36:15that had nothing to do with what happened this time. Like and also I got told to leave
36:22this show. Part of my take. I was not told to leave. I'm admitting I was told to leave
36:26this show. And Nate once said that one time when I was in Africa because of some blog
36:31bullshit where then Big Cat was like, text me like, yo, like, just for the record, like
36:37we like I don't know why Nate said that. That is not true. And I respect the hell of that
36:41from Big Cat because like, like, are you hurt? No one had your back macro dosing. I think,
36:49you know, if people did have my back, like I would never ask them to stick their neck
36:54out when they themselves might get put in a funny position. You know what? That is a
36:59fucking great statement by somebody running for office right there. Yeah. Selfless. I
37:05mean, I'm just I'm no longer running for office. I don't know. OK, hold on. What? So that
37:11was so that so that story is done. You don't want to go. You don't have anything else to
37:14say about. You don't want to give a tell people a reason that you were given or anything.
37:18You're just ready to move on. I'm just right. Like, yeah, I got this new project. I want
37:22to make it successful. I'm like, it's like, look, this I hope to look back on this and
37:28be like, wow, this was a great kick in the ass to get my shit together. And it's great
37:31because I get to be in the office again. The Internet here and I don't know how foreplay
37:36does it because I am actually need to go talk to the producers. I could not record macro
37:41dosing from this and then get it sent to Chicago by the time that McKenzie could edit it all
37:48because it would come like five hours later to for McKenzie when she was trying to edit
37:52it right after the show. So the thing is an area in remote. So why would that even matter?
37:55How long does it take him to get his shit? Oh, right, right. But he has better Internet
37:58than this office. So I don't mean so. But what's great now is I get to be in the office.
38:02I get to be involved with everybody again. I'm still part time technically. And the reason
38:06I went part time after leaving part of my take was I'm not going to take the same salary
38:10I was when I was on the biggest sports podcast in the world, because that's just like putting
38:14a like a target on your head like you got to produce just as much as you were. I was
38:18that an option or were they like you leave PMT work? No, no, I did that myself. So I
38:23was like, hey, I'm leaving part of my take. I'd rather like I don't want to be in that
38:27situation where it's like, well, he's off part of my take, but he's still taking a part
38:30of my take salary, right? Because you take the pressure off yourself a little bit. I'm
38:34not like start your own stuff, see what you can do. Like I ended up like doing other stuff.
38:39And I think definitely like going to Africa, running for Congress, like those are all stuff
38:45that I sort of was going like wanted to running for Congress. Like I created my own content,
38:51which I think your content. I think it's been very I thought I was doing a good job. I think
38:56you are, too. But I mean, look, you don't know what goes on behind the doors of certain
38:59things. And sometimes you do have to move on. And that serves as a kick in the ass to
39:02kind of reevaluate things. And I think that's what I meant by putting in Aries. We like
39:06you don't like. So you and Arian are fine. We're fine. We're fine. I'll tell you. I'll
39:10tell you. If you want to hear about the rap beef, go listen to macro dosing because Arian
39:16goes going. I'm going to. Yeah, he has great breakdown of it. I'm on my way up to Yankee
39:21Stadium. I'm going to be in two hours of traffic. I'm going to go all the way up. Go to take
39:26the shuttle to Grand Central and then take either Metro North or just hop on the floor
39:29to just take the two train there or the six. Oh, yeah. Yeah. It's on the other side. Yeah.
39:33I'm not trying to sound fucking snooty or anything. I'm not. I'm not fucking with the
39:38subway. Yeah, I understand that. Oh, yeah. That's the kind of violence you deal with.
39:41I will. I will say that. I will say this, though. The macro dosing guys, I'm I'm a little
39:46hurt that they built this awesome studio in Chicago and they record all the time. I'm
39:53fucking there in the backyard. I haven't been asked to be on that show one. Do you want
39:58to be? Maybe you will. Yeah, I want to be on that show for another. I want to be I don't
40:02want to be a permanent host, but I would love to guest every now and then. I think I feel
40:07like that's right in my wheelhouse. I think you align with that, like like the stuff you
40:11like to talk about. I think it's very macro dosing. Billy, you seem to have some issues
40:17with that statement. No, I don't have issues. It's just. No, I want to hear, you know, what's
40:24your issue? You don't think Dante Dante aligns with the subject. Selfishly, I want him on
40:29audio crack. You want to. All right, fine. So you're also quitting. You're also quitting.
40:33You're still quitting. You're suspending your race or ending my campaign for Congress.
40:38Yeah. Check out the last episode. Why, man? Because I don't I. The percentage of a win
40:44in the courts right now, literally, like if you look at our win, like our success rate
40:49in this case, it is too low to genuinely raise money to try to keep doing. Dude, what I'm
40:56saying is fucking problem. Seriously. Check out. Check out. I got to keep something for
41:01the podcast. I have my campaign campaign strategist on. He literally broke down what's
41:07fucked up about this exact situation compared to all the other races. He's seen how this
41:12situation where four out of five candidates were disqualified from the ballot. And it's
41:17in one guy was never put under any scrutiny, never had a signatures under any scrutiny.
41:21And there's a lot of people like, well, you should have done. You should have done the
41:24right thing and gotten enough signatures and shouldn't have submitted fraudulent signatures.
41:28There was zero fraud. They've just accused us so much of fraud that is impossible to
41:32really prove unless we literally videotaped all 3000 signatures we collected. When is
41:37your shit officially done right now? Yeah, right now. So you're you're done. Like, I
41:41can't. I don't have enough money. And thank you to everyone who donate. Thank you to everyone
41:45who bought merch. The merch like like I still have outstanding bills. I lost a lot of my
41:51savings doing this trying to get it going. But I can't like in good faith call up people
41:58and try to collect money knowing that we might get screwed with a 25 percent chance. A moral
42:03politician. You don't see that too often. I mean, that's why. That's why. Because you
42:07have people who, you know, don't have the resources or like ill intentions to go after
42:14things like that because they can't in good faith collect money from people and go up
42:18against a machine with endless resources and try to get something done. There's money
42:22for advertising money to get your name out there. The whole fucking thing. I mean, it's
42:27the best thing is we didn't have to spend that much on ads. We spent on trying to get
42:31on the ballot and we got like it's just it's just more of the same bullshit. So they they
42:37put this law into effect to keep crazy people from putting their name on the ballot. So,
42:44OK, there has to be some legitimacy. So you have to get X amount of signatures in it.
42:49There's obviously you're taking this serious and you're doing it. So they're going to over
42:55a small technicality. This happens in Chicago all the time, too, with alderman races. Well,
43:00the thing is, you guys challenge signatures. It is not the government. It's not the government
43:04who challenges signatures. It's not the party. It's other candidates. Random individual who
43:08isn't associated with the candidate. So, like, for example, like the four guys who also got
43:13disqualified with me, one's a lawyer and like two of them are lawyers and one guy raised
43:18half a million dollars and he had like he had tons of signatures and like he had them
43:24all vetted everything and they threw him out to like the way they're throwing out these
43:28signatures is so arbitrary that unless you have tons of resources and are able to literally
43:34get 10,000 signatures, you won't be able to get on the ballot, which is just insurmountable
43:39for any grassroots campaign in New York. And it causes what we're seeing in New York
43:44State and all these problems in New York State to occur. Well, looks like we'll have to wait
43:50until the next go around. I'm fucking going back out there. I didn't lose this. I just
43:54didn't make wait for the fight. That's what happened. And I don't go away. A contract.
43:59How often is your show coming out? Audio crack. We're shooting where we're volume shooting
44:05right now. We'll see. I next week we're probably going to slow it down a little. I have an
44:10awesome interview lined up with a guy who I'm going to keep his surprise. But this guy
44:16has crazy information regarding the Malaysian flight MH370 about its disappearance. He has
44:23proof and drone footage and Lord like he's proved that it's not fake and it's going to
44:30be this. This guy blew my mind. And you got Dante on this week. Dante's on this week on
44:34the Boeing alleged assassinations. Go ahead, Dante. Dante. I just have a question. Is there
44:40any show that I can coattail ride or hop on? Similar to what Nate was doing with
44:50Friday radio that he gave up on that I personally fucking loved. I got to rant and vent once
44:57a week every week because certain things do grind my gears a little bit. And this past
45:07weekend. Hold on one second. This past weekend I read a blog that Nate wrote really good
45:15about the Brady roast and he threw in a little thing at the end about I think we need to
45:22roast Dave Portnoy, something I've been saying for years. I've written three, four or five
45:29blogs about this. Why don't you roast in a blog? No, there need. No, there needs to be. I'm
45:34saying we're going to do that. We're going to do this. We're going to put together this night. I
45:38think we should call it the night of hate, which Dave has wanted to do forever. But make Dave the
45:43center point of it. Bring in like big names, celebrities, bloggers, everyone that can like
45:51really roast him. I think Nate would be unbelievable, but I don't want somebody else taking
45:59credit for this like everything else in this company. You think it was your idea first? Dude, I
46:03have so many times come up with this shit. That's not like a unique idea to anybody. We've all
46:11been saying it forever. You didn't come up with the idea of roasting Dave. Dude, like 10 years
46:17ago. 10 years ago. Were you even around 10 years ago, Nate? Yeah, I was hired 13 years ago. No.
46:24Okay, Dante, credit to you. You came up with that idea. I'm sorry I didn't credit you for the
46:30revolutionary idea. Not even that. I don't even need the credit. I just don't want it getting
46:34stolen. I don't want. All right, that's the rundown. We'll see you guys tomorrow.
