00:00 [speaking Chinese]
00:04 Malaysia and China are good neighbors, close friends,
00:09 trustworthy partners, and well-willed sharing brothers
00:14 whose friendship dates back to thousands of years ago.
00:19 Since establishing diplomatic relations 50 years ago,
00:24 relations between the two countries
00:27 have been progressing in leaps and bounds,
00:30 which is always at the forefront of China's relations
00:35 with the other countries.
00:37 President Xi Jinping's historical visit to Malaysia in 2013
00:43 opened a new chapter in the two countries' relations development,
00:47 during which comprehensive strategic partnership
00:51 was built between China and Malaysia.
00:54 Ten years later, Prime Minister Anwar visited China
00:58 and reached an important consensus with President Xi Jinping
01:03 on building the China-Malaysia community with a shared future,
01:07 both of whom draw a new blueprint for the two countries' future development.
01:13 China and Malaysia have always been each other's
01:18 hot-spot tourism destinations for a long time.
01:23 The end of last year's annual visa-free entry policies
01:27 enabled the peoples of both countries to visit each other whenever they like,
01:33 which is such great news to both.
01:36 Now, the tourism coming to Malaysia from China
01:40 has grown to more than 270,000 per month,
01:44 which is still expected to be growing.
01:48 During the five days of the International Work States Holiday alone,
01:53 Chinese tourism to Malaysia increased by more than 80%.
01:59 Another good news.
02:00 Just yesterday, the China President Xi Jinping announced in France
02:06 that the visa-free policy for the citizens from the 12 countries,
02:11 including Malaysia, to come to China will be extended
02:16 until the end of 2025,
02:20 which will further promote exchange and cooperation between our two countries.
02:27 Flies between China and Malaysia has now increased to more than 350 per week.
02:36 All these figures and news are good tellers of the ever-growing
02:41 closeness between the two peoples and countries.
