If you'll be traveling anywhere in the central U.S. on May 7, you'll want to stay aware of the latest forecast.
Transcript
00:00 It seems like winter doesn't want to let up there and there will be some snow impacts across some of the northwest.
00:07 This is a cool enough system that it is still allowing for some of those passes in the northern Rockies to be a bit of a problem.
00:13 We've had that across Colorado at times.
00:15 Utah, Salt Lake City, dealing with minor travel delays.
00:18 It's rain there, just rain showers, but certainly something as you get into the Wasatch, it's going to be a little bit different at certain elevations.
00:26 Chicago, Minneapolis, Salt Lake, all on our slow set up for your morning commute tomorrow.
00:31 And Chicago, you could argue that it could be a major travel delay because we're going to have so much thunderstorm activity.
00:38 Some of that line breaks out in Minneapolis early in the day and then more afternoon thunderstorms possible.
00:42 Chicago, minor delays at least, if not major delays for the morning, major delays for the afternoon in Indianapolis.
00:49 And those flight cancellations, by the way, they're up a little bit high for Tuesday and certainly high for Thursday as thunderstorm activity moves through populated airport hubs.
