Transcript
00:00 Storms though on the West Coast as we talked about, they're still causing a travel mess as roads all across Southern California
00:06 Have been inundated by floodwaters and as that rain continues and the flooding continues
00:12 I want to take a look at some of the travel troubles you might face tomorrow and as you would expect
00:17 Well, if you look across the nation our concerns are towards the west in Los Angeles
00:22 But we also have some concerns elsewhere
00:24 Just want to show you minor delays in places like Minneapolis and Chicago all thanks to morning fog
00:30 Patchy morning fog in Chicago. So that could be freezing morning fog in Minneapolis. So watch out around there
00:35 Meanwhile off towards the southeast Miami
00:38 It's still dealing with a pretty windy pattern as that storm system departs that Justin Jeff were talking about there
00:44 Meanwhile in the northwest though, we go into places like Seattle and Portland. We've got some showers there Boise holding on to some showers
00:51 It's mostly rain places like Reno. You're getting the snow overnight. So expect that morning commute to be the most challenging and Los Angeles Las Vegas
00:58 I think it's still very messy a lot of rainfall, especially places like San Diego
01:02 We're still dealing with the wet pattern and that's going to mean significant slowdowns on the road
01:07 So where our morning commute for Tuesday is basically a big no-go
01:11 Almost it's gonna be places like Los Angeles as a shower still linger around
01:15 There's a lot of cleanup and a lot of closed roads detours same thing for San Diego and Vegas
01:20 You're still getting the heavy rainfall at that time as it remains chilly where it's a green light though
01:25 places like Philadelphia
01:28 Nashville and Dallas one thing though
01:30 I will say places like Philadelphia a lot of them coming in from Pennsylvania so that
01:34 Drive into the sunshine in the morning can play up a little bit of a problem
01:39 So make sure you got the sunglasses and the visor ready to go there
01:42 Meanwhile, we do have flight cancellations for the rest of your week
01:45 So maybe you're hoping to get out on a spring break getaway or February getaway
01:50 Maybe you're going skiing. Maybe you're going to the beach into the week
01:53 We do have some good news flight cancellations relatively low this time of year
01:58 They can be a little bit less than 100 but in summer
02:01 We're usually averaging around two to three hundred flight cancellations a day due to weather
