00:00 Fortunately in Chicago, things have cleared up nicely.
00:03 Let's check out where we could see some travel troubles tomorrow.
00:05 And there will be some additional showers near Chicago, but nothing like what we faced yesterday.
00:10 So let's take a look at this. Here you can see some of that rain moving into Chicago.
00:13 Some minor delays likely tomorrow, but major problems from Dallas to Atlanta
00:17 with severe weather in that stripe across the nation.
00:20 Rain showers into New York City as well, and we're going to be dealing with some showers as well into areas around Denver.
00:25 Otherwise, we're in good shape for the west, northern plains, and south Florida for the most part.
00:29 The northwest, we're in great shape here. No delays expected in the northwest.
00:33 In the southwest, we have a little bit of rain into Denver, as mentioned,
00:36 but also windy weather in the afternoon into Albuquerque, New Mexico.
00:39 In the north central U.S., we've got some showers in Casper and Omaha as well.
00:43 Otherwise, smooth sailing for most. Here we do get into trouble, though, with major afternoon delays into Dallas.
00:49 Scattered storms into Houston and, again, east into Atlanta, major delays.
00:54 Raleigh could also see some severe weather in the afternoon.
00:56 Some of that could lead to major delays, too. It'll get breezy in Jacksonville,
01:00 and that may lead to a minor delay or two for aviation concerns.
01:04 Real hot out there, though, too, and we have showers in Chicago, Detroit, Indianapolis,
01:08 even a thunderstorm into Columbus, Ohio.
01:10 Some of that may nose into the Buffalo Metro with some rain leading to some delays there.
01:14 The New England states look good.
01:16 Heading a little farther south, showers in New York and Philadelphia, scattered thunderstorms,
01:20 but major thunderstorms could lead to some severe weather into parts of Baltimore and D.C.
01:25 We're going to have about 300 flight cancellations tomorrow.
01:28 We leave you now with the view from Tony Laubach's stash cam in Sasser, Illinois.
01:35 Lots of lightning, heavy rain. We've got some hail.
01:37 There is a tornado threat tied to this cell with a tornado warning continuing.
01:41 More Prime after the break.
