00:00Do you think, because I know, I've heard both you and Dave talk about it in that they are
00:09going to get rid of the college props, right?
00:11You guys firmly believe that's going to be the result, but do you think that's the correct
00:16result?
00:17Because I have the same stance.
00:18I do not think removing those props is to the benefit of the books, or the benefit of
00:26the leagues, I guess I should say.
00:28Well, what it does is take away something that has a very low handle.
00:32Not a lot of people bet college props.
00:33I know we like to talk about it in the space, in the gambling space, like people are betting
00:38college football props or college basketball props in the tournament, but the vast majority
00:42of days have very, very little handle on college sports for prop markets.
00:46So the books can give that back and feel like they're making a concession and they can go
00:51to the gaming control boards and say, look, we okayed this, we're the ones that came to
00:56you about, hey, take this back.
00:58We're okay with saying this shouldn't happen.
01:00And then the administrators who work in the academic world can say, well, our kids are
01:04going to be subjected to some guy on the internet yelling about missing a free throw.
01:08So it's a mutually beneficial deal for everybody involved.
01:12Low handle, it looks pretty, it doesn't do anything, and it gets the PR machine going
01:18for the sports betting industry and saying, hey, look, we gave something back.
01:21So that I do think is going to wind up happening.
01:24But is it for the better?
01:25No, because the offshore market will have a robust market, a robust menu of prop betting
01:30for college football and college basketball, and people will just go to bet there.
