01:41 But when the enemy is close, the one who is backing up now are the ground troops of the Filipino and American soldiers

01:49 who are hiding here in the plants and grass on the beach.

01:54 As for the machine guns, rifles, grenades, and rocket launchers,

01:58 a tank is also involved in the action to intercept the enemy.

02:06 We are simulating a threat coming from the seas to our shorelines.

02:12 And so we are using our multi-domain capabilities to defend our sovereignty.

02:20 And for our HIMARS, what we do is we work as a close part of that combined joint task force

02:28 to really look at a potential adversary as we look at protecting the sovereignty here.

02:34 These two hovercrafts came from a US Navy ship that is docked in the west Philippine Sea.

02:40 From the sea, the amphibious vehicle is heading straight to the coast of Campung Ulay.

02:45 It is the two HIMARS or High Mobility Artillery Rocket System.

02:49 In order to get the HIMARS down here, we flew them down from Luzon into Palawan,

02:56 got off the aircraft, put it on a ship via El Cacto, moved it down the coast off of the El Cacto,

03:04 and then here on the beach.

03:06 The HIMARS' performance earlier was seen as good,

03:10 as it was able to strengthen our external defense.

03:14 Any new equipment will be beneficial to the armed forces, not only for the Marines.

03:19 We also welcome this kind of hardware.

03:23 The armaments are located in front of the west Philippine Sea,

03:27 where China's aggression against the Philippine ships is being carried out.

03:31 If you look at the map, in front of Rizal, Palawan and Ayungin Shoal,

03:36 there is also a mischievous reef controlled by China, even if it enters our Exclusive Economic Zone.

03:42 AFB asked if China cannot destroy the canyon in front of the west Philippine Sea.

03:50 This is quite a distance and we are only firing within our maritime zones and our territory.
