Fabrice Muamba, Tom Lockyer and Glenn Hoddle have joined a team dubbed the 'Re-Starting 11' - because they’ve all been impacted by life-threatening heart conditions.
The line-up is part of a new campaign, ‘Every Minute Matters’, which was created by Sky Bet and the British Heart Foundation.
It aims to recruit 270,000 people - the equivalent of three Wembley Stadiums - to learn lifesaving CPR over the next 12 months.

00:00 CPR really does save lives. I'm living proof of that.
00:03 There's no better gift in life if you can save someone's life.
00:11 What can you achieve more than that in life?
00:13 And that's what this campaign and that's what it's about, CPR.
00:17 So I'm here today with Sky Bear and the British Heart Foundation
00:20 and they're launching a campaign of Every Minute Matters.
00:22 They're looking to try and get 270,000 people,
00:25 which is three Wembley stadiums, learning CPR
00:29 and if that happens, that can be incredible.
00:31 Anything close to that will be incredible.
00:33 Without CPR, I wouldn't be standing here now.
00:40 It's as simple as that.
00:42 And for Simon Daniels, who's been with me today,
00:44 she's greatly saved my life.
00:45 I call it, in football terminology, my extra time.
00:49 I just hope it doesn't go to penalties.
00:51 Well, I think when you look at the people that are involved today,
00:56 people who actually suffer cardiac arrest and heart attacks,
00:59 people you would never expect them to have gone through that.
01:03 You know, I was 38 when it happened to me.
01:05 I was playing football back in 2016.
01:09 I collapsed and without any warnings and I was actually dead.
01:16 My heart stopped.
01:18 It was a sudden death.
01:19 That's the scary thing about it.
01:21 It doesn't tap you on the shoulder, cardiac arrest.
01:25 It doesn't give you that many warning signs.
01:27 It's been well documented, but I had a cardiac arrest
01:30 on the field of play back in December
01:32 and without the fast actions of people who knew CPR,
01:36 knew how to use a defibrillator,
01:38 I wouldn't be standing here today, pushing this campaign.
01:41 So I'm one of the lucky ones.
01:43 Obviously, I'm a footballer.
01:44 I love playing football, but, you know, there's so much more to life.
01:48 You know, I'm an incredibly proud father now.
01:50 I've got a young daughter.
01:52 It's about saving lives.
01:53 It saved my life and you need and you have to go
01:58 on the British Heart Foundation website.
02:01 It's a 15 minute video and you'll learn it
02:04 and you'll have a basic understanding of it.
02:06 And as I said, God forbid you're ever in that situation,
02:08 but you could save someone's life.
02:10 Skybet are going to donate three million to the British Heart Foundation
02:14 for vital causes and throughout the playoffs,
02:17 they're going to donate £10,000 for every goal scored in the playoffs.
02:21 So, yeah, rack 'em up, lads.
