00:19 The award was given on Monday at the Sajatra Malaysia Forum,
00:23 organised by KSI Strategic Institute for Asia-Pacific, Dialogue Rakyat and UCSI University.
00:30 The forum aimed at exploring social harmony and national unity, objectives of the Rukun Negara.
00:37 The Rukun Negara has been our guiding star, continuously fostering patriotism and unity.
00:45 The harmony and unity among Malaysia's multiracial community over the last five decades
00:50 is a direct manifestation of the five principles of the Rukun Negara.

01:15 Your portfolio, Excellency, is the most important and most needed
01:21 to mend fences and build rapport among Malaysians and the public.
01:31 I hope you don't mind if I take a dig politically and say that in terms of budget,
01:38 the Ministry of National Unity should get a budget equal to, if not greater than, the one given to Jakim,
01:47 which only caters for a segment of the population, whereas yours encompasses all Malaysians.
01:55 And I hope that the government listens to our plea to give greater emphasis and understanding
02:02 for the need for national unity to be paramount in this country.
02:08 KSI Strategic Institute for Asia-Pacific's Tan Sri Michael Yeo and UCSI Group founder Dr Peter T.S Ng
02:15 highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts and platforms
02:19 like the Sajartra Malaysia Forum in fostering national harmony.
