00:00Early Monday morning, L.A. Clippers forward Montrezl Harrell took a Michael Jordan-esque
00:04approach to announce his return to NBA bubble in Orlando, tweeting,
00:07I'm back around 4 in the morning Eastern Time, a return nearly a month in the making.
00:12The Star Reserve originally left the bubble on July 17th, tend to a thing of a matter.
00:16It didn't seem like he'd be gone for long at first, especially since Patrick
00:20Beverly and Lou Williams both had similar situations going on at the same time.
00:23However, Harrell's status became unclear after his grandmother passed away.
00:26Now that he's back, Harrell will undergo a four-day quarantine.
00:29It's tested negative for the coronavirus.
00:31Each day he was away from the bubble before he could join the team.
00:34Given the timing of his return, there's a chance that Harrell could suit up for
00:37the Clippers again for the playoffs beginning on August 18th.
00:39L.A. will face off with Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday,
00:42which is their final seeding game, and Harrell should be eligible to play.
00:46But regardless of when he makes the bubble debut, this is a huge gain for the Clippers.
00:50Harrell ranks third on the team in scoring with 18.6 points per game,
00:54and is tied for second in rebounding with Kawhi Leonard with 7.1 per game.
00:58Surprisingly, he only ranks fifth in minutes per game on the team.
01:02Harrell was also named a finalist for the Sixth Man of the Year award on Saturday for
01:05the second year in a row, along with Lou Williams and Thunder guard Dennis Schroeder.
01:09The Clippers and Thunder will meet on Friday, August 14th.
01:12Tip-off time and network is to be determined.
