Durant believes the collapse started at the defensive end
Transcript
00:00Kevin Durant was asked why he believes the LA Clippers collapsed against the Denver Nuggets and he believes it was on the defensive end.
00:08Durant had the Clippers winning the NBA Championship and so did many other players, but like all of us, they were all wrong.
00:15And while Durant believes it's on the defensive end because he says players weren't on the same page the entire playoffs or the entire series,
00:23that is true, but also the Clippers weren't making great choices offensively.
00:27In Game 6 specifically, Paul George was shooting mid-range jumpers over and over and over,
00:33and every single jumper that he missed, the Denver Nuggets would get a free throw on the other end through penetrating in transition.
00:39So bad offense would lead to bad defense.
00:42It also didn't help that Montrezl Harrell kept being put in against Nikola Jokic, which was basically an automatic bucket for Jokic.
00:49So even though the Clippers weren't doing well on the defensive end, their rotations weren't in a position to even do well on the defensive end.
