00:00When's the last time you felt this good?
00:04The last time I felt this good was probably my senior year in college.
00:08Once you go through the draft process and go into the combine and all that stuff,
00:11it just takes a toll on your body.
00:13And then obviously my rookie year I tore my ACL, so
00:14I haven't felt like this since probably my senior year in college.
00:17You mentioned that they say you're never quite exactly the same.
00:21Do you feel like, are you compromised at all, or do you feel like-
00:24No, I feel good, what I meant by that is it just takes a long time to get back.
00:29Some of the other guys in the team that have hurt their knee, like Melvin and
00:33Nick Zubner and those guys, just told me it's gonna take a while.
00:35Your second year is when you really start to feel like back to yourself.
00:39So it just takes a little while.
00:41What's it been like going against this defensive line with guys like Justin Jones
00:45in his second year, kind of improving, and
00:47just to get those reps against those guys as you get ready for the Rams?
00:50Yeah, I mean, it's good.
00:50Those guys are great players.
00:51Obviously, that's why we drafted them.
00:53They give us great looks every day at practice, obviously with Melvin and
00:56Joey and, like you said, Justin.
00:58So there's a couple of vets on the line, like me, Bane.
01:00So those guys give you good looks, and all it does is make us better every day.
01:03Of course, you get a lot of attention on social media among fans.
01:08They're always interested in you.
01:10I don't know why.
01:11Do you understand that?
01:11It's crazy.
01:12I don't know.
01:14I mean, I don't understand it.
01:15I don't get it.
01:15I play offensive line, so I'd rather it not be like that, but it is what it is.
01:21Is it just maybe where you're drafted, or?
01:23Maybe it's where I drafted.
01:25Sometimes people joke.
01:26Reporters joke and say they like my name.
01:28So I couldn't tell you what it is, so.
01:30Do you feel at this point, with six consecutive practices,
01:36it's getting a little chippy and anxious to see someone else?
01:40Even though the media's hitting on each other.
01:43I know, right, yeah.
01:44No, yeah, you get tired of blocking the same guys every day,
01:48going against Justin and me, Bane, and those guys.
01:50So it'll be good to practice against somebody else.
01:52We have the Rams later this week.
01:54But yeah, things get a little bit chippy.
01:55But at the end of the day, we're all teammates.
01:56We all care about each other.
01:57We all love each other.
01:58So this team does good at taking care of each other.
02:00Of course, switching playing both sides, how challenging is that?
02:05Or is it not that big of a deal?
02:07It's different, especially if you play one side the entire practice.
02:09And then for the last two reps, you change sides.
02:11Cuz you almost forget sometimes what side you're on.
02:14And then obviously play calls different from one side to the next.
02:17So, but it's good.
02:18Once you get a couple reps out of you, you're good to go.
