Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn explains why he didn't call for Philip Rivers to run a QB sneak at the goal line Sunday at the Titans.

00:00On the 4th down, is there any thought to QB sneaking in there, as opposed to running to the line?
00:05On the 4th down?
00:07No, go line.
00:09Go line, yeah.
00:11You know, yeah, you can QB sneak in there. A lot of our offense we run from the gun.
00:16But when I have an offensive line, we're on the 1-yard line, and I got a back and score more touchdowns,
00:20then I'm on this team, big back, we should have been gone.
00:25Do you have confidence in Phil to run QB sneaks?
00:28I mean, this is 2015, but even since you've been here, I think he has like one successful QB sneak.
00:32He has one since I've been here.
00:34But it's something that he hasn't done a lot in the past.
00:36And so, I mean, it's not just a little bonehead play, it's a skill, to run a QB sneak.
00:42And I'm not saying that Phil can't do it, but he just hasn't done it a lot.
00:45And like I said, with Melvin in the back, I felt like that was our best bet.
