00:05 LA Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers poured in to catch the action.
00:08 According to Turner Sports, the game held an average of 3.4 million views, more than
00:13 double the regular season average, and peaked at an average of 4.1 million viewers within
00:17 the first hour of the matchup.
00:20 It's no surprise the game performed so well.
00:21 Aside from the star power present in the matchup in Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Anthony Davis,
00:26 and LeBron James, the Clippers and Lakers delivered perfectly on the hype.
00:30 The contest was close throughout with both teams leading by as many as 11 points and
00:34 coming on either way in the final minutes.
00:35 Ultimately, the ball bounced the Lakers away.
00:38 Clippers fell 1-1 to 1-3 in their seeding game debut.
