Reggie Jackson played basketball in Paul George's backyard during quarantine
Transcript
00:00When the NBA was postponed in March, a lot of players were in a lot of different situations.
00:06Reggie Jackson on the LA Clippers is an interesting case because he was just traded to the team
00:11on February 20th.
00:12Within 19 days, COVID shut the NBA down.
00:16He didn't even have enough time to buy a place yet.
00:19And what's kind of comical is he stayed in a hotel room and he lived in a hotel room
00:24the entire four months of quarantine.
00:27And because of that, he didn't really get to dribble a ball or do anything.
00:31And so what he said he did on a conference call with Sports Illustrated was that he dribbled
00:36in a hotel room, but there was nobody underneath him.
00:38So he was able to dribble the ball without getting yelled at.
00:42Now what I think is the most interesting thing that he said on that call was that he played
00:45basketball in Paul George's second LA home.
00:49He would just go to Paul George's house when he wasn't home and no one was home and play
00:53basketball in the backyard.
00:55And the two of them are practically best friends with each other.
00:58So it lets you know just the level of camaraderie the two have.
01:02And I think what will be most fun is once the season is over, you're going to hear all
01:06these crazy stories about how people played basketball during quarantine because they're
01:11all technically breaking the rules.
01:13There have already been stories about like the Lakers playing in a mansion that a fan
01:18owns.
01:19And I think as things go on, you're going to hear some really, really funny stories
01:23similar to Reggie Jackson's.
