00:00L.A. Clippers star reserve Lou Williams made his seeding game debut on Tuesday
00:04logging 7 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists in 21 minutes of action and the
00:09team's 117 to 115 loss to the Phoenix Suns. After the game Williams took
00:14questions about his performance and of course he stripped to Magic City during
00:16his absence from the bubble saying quote I probably could have made a better
00:20quality decision. I went somewhere after viewing of somebody I considered a
00:24mentor somebody I looked up to. At the time I thought I was making the
00:27responsible decision. After looking back on it with everything going on in the
00:31world in the pandemic maybe it wasn't the best quality decision. I chalk it up
00:34as that. Take my L and keep moving. Williams was excused to the NBA campus
00:39in Orlando in late July to attend a relative's funeral but the situation
00:43regarding his exit quickly changed when news broke he visited a famous
00:46gentleman's club in Atlanta. After the league reviewed the incident Williams was
00:50made to undergo a 10-day quarantine upon returning to the bubble. The crafty guard
00:54touched on Montrez Harrell's absence as well before turning his attention back
00:58to basketball saying quote I was truly grieving. Then his turn to Magic City. It
01:03was difficult to go through this. I really hope these fans understand what
01:05Trez is going through while he's away. Harrell left the bubble on July 17th and
01:09since then has been dealing with the loss of his grandmother. As of now his
01:12return date is unknown. It's also not a priority for Dr. Rousseau to hold
01:16Harrell to come back whenever he is ready. Now that Williams is back and getting
01:20his reps in again he should only see more time on the court as the Clippers
01:23approach the postseason.
