00:00When Paul George revealed that he was dealing with depression in the NBA bubble, it resulted
00:05in a trigger effect, a domino effect, that allowed other players to reveal that they
00:08were dealing with the same issues.
00:11Some of the specific players you have talked about are Danny Green and also Jalen Brown.
00:17And what Green said was most interesting, he said, I know exactly what PG is going through.
00:23You have nothing but your phone to look at, and it's just people bullying you nonstop.
00:30And what's interesting is no one could tell that George was dealing with these issues
00:34until he had mentioned it.
00:36And he said, we're all dealing with it.
00:38He's had conversations with guys in the bubble, people who have publicly talked about it like
00:43Danny Green and people who haven't.
00:45And they're all telling him, you know, we're happy that you said that because now we know
00:49we're not the only one.
00:52And it's an interesting thing to think about, because while the bubble has created the ability
00:56to safely play basketball, it's also put players in a position where they're dealing with a
01:01little bit more depression than they would have, but that's also just the state of the
01:04world right now.
01:05Doc Rivers had mentioned that he expects when families are able to come soon within the
01:09next week, that a lot of this is going to be different and that it's going to provide
01:14a great relief for players.
01:16So we can only hope but see what happens next week once families come through into the bubble
01:21and if we were to do this whole situation all over again, maybe they might have families
01:25be able to come right from the beginning.
