00:13staying ready, coming in and having a performance whenever

00:17where you haven't played?
00:18Yeah, I'm honestly not sure who started that,
00:23where it initially came from.
00:26It's always just been stay ready.
00:28I think last year, it was ever ready.
00:32This year, now it's Just Add Water.
00:34But pretty much just throughout my career,
00:37my role has changed constantly every single time,
00:39every single year, with every single team that I've been on.
00:42Coming here, having the opportunity
00:44to just be a part of something special.
00:47I think constant communication with the coaching staff
00:50and my teammates believing in me and their confidence in me,
00:54it just helps overall.
00:56So just the constant back and forth communication
00:58with the coaching staff and the teammates as far as what
01:01my role is, constantly letting them know whenever they need me,
01:04whenever my number's called, I'm going to be ready.
01:06So that's pretty much just my approach
01:08throughout the course of the season,
01:10just making sure I'm taking care of my body,
01:12doing all the things necessary off the court,
01:14so that when my name is called, that this team doesn't
01:16miss a beat, doesn't miss a step whenever I'm out there.

01:21I mean, whether I like it or not, I guess it's staying.
01:24It's sticking with me now throughout the course
01:25of the year because everyone keeps saying, just add water.
01:28Someone said instant oatmeal earlier, instant coffee.
01:32I don't know.
01:33It's just so many names just being thrown out.
01:35So whether I like it or not, it's
01:37what I'm being called now in the locker room.
