00:58 "As a person, the First Lady Liza Marcos has the right to feel bad and angry.
01:06 But her personal feelings have nothing to do with my mandate as an official of the government."
01:15 Araneta Marcos said Sara crossed the line when she attended a protest in Davao against
01:20 charter change and allegedly laughed when former President Rodrigo Duterte said President
01:25 Ferdinand Marcos Jr. was "bangag" or "high" on drugs.
01:28 Instead of directly responding to the First Lady's issue, Sara says she and the president
01:33 will talk privately about the matter.
01:35 She notes the focus should be on the country's pressing problems.

02:03 The mayors add, "It seems inappropriate for a Vice President, who campaigned under the
02:08 same party banner as the President, to participate in such events and react with amusement to
02:12 the attacks."
02:13 Mayor Jerry Trenas of Iloilo was a staunch supporter of the failed 2022 presidential
02:18 bid of Lenny Robredo.

03:27 of differences at sea.
03:29 The Philippines has sovereign rights in the West Philippine Sea and has the exclusive
03:33 right to exploit and care for resources in those areas.
03:36 Meanwhile, China says it remains committed to resolving maritime disputes through dialogue
03:41 but will not allow itself to be "abused," saying the sea should not be an arena where
