00:00 The Department of Health is reminding the public against the possible diseases that may get hot weather.
00:06 Some of the heat related illnesses that are getting hot weather are heat cramps, heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
00:12 According to the DOH, in the time that any of these people experience,
00:16 they are advised to go to a dark place or a place where there is a chance of cooling.
00:22 Remove your clothes, especially if there is thick cloth.
00:25 Put on a cold compress, drink cold water and consult with an emergency services or hospital.
00:33 The DOH is also reminding that you should always drink enough water.
00:38 Avoid drinking iced tea, soda, coffee or alcoholic drinks.
00:43 Wear loose and light clothing and avoid going out of the house from 10 am to 4 pm.
00:50 If you cannot avoid it, use protection against heat like hat, umbrella and sunblock.
00:57 If necessary, call the following numbers that you can see on your TV screen.
