Faster security coming to Birmingham Airport

00:13 Starting on June 1st, a new security hall will welcome all passengers thanks to £60

00:20 million invested in the project. The advancement aims to serve more travellers per hour and

00:26 so reducing wait times. Unlike other airports such as Manchester and Gatwick, Birmingham's

00:31 passengers will benefit from 3D security scanners permitting liquids over 100ml and eliminating

00:38 the need to remove large electronic devices from hand luggage. With CT scanning machines
