00:18 What a day and what a first week of NCAA Volleyball.
00:21 [Martin Javier] Well, definitely ang ganda ng action natin for today. Of course, in the first game, CSB took care of business early.
00:26 Nagmamandali, parang may lakad na yung linggo. Etong Lady Blazers, they took care of business 3-0.
00:32 And then the Sunveda Lady Spikers, finally getting their first win in three tries in the Coach Edgar Barroga era at the expense of the San Sebastian Lady Staff.
00:42 I was wondering kung sino sa mga analysts yung magiging rason kung bakit tayo magkaka fifth set.
00:48 So, we welcome Mika Reyes. It's been a long time coming. Siya na lang yung huling analyst who's a really prominent name who hasn't ventured into this trade.
00:58 So, Mika Reyes being welcomed with a five-set match. First five-set match ng NCAA Season 99.
01:03 And we're not complaining because we love what San Sebastian and Sunveda showed today.

01:50 On opening day last Sunday, the Benild Lady Blazers began their quest for a three-peat on a high note as they dominated EAC 25-15, 25-14, 25-23.
02:01 Graduating middle blocker Mitch Gamit led the way for the Taft Avenue-based squad with 10 markers.
02:08 In the match that followed, Perpetual flexed their muscles against JRU winning 25-14, 25-14, 25-21.
02:17 Reigning league MVP Mary Rose Dapol top-scored for the Lady Altas with 16 points.
02:24 On Tuesday, Mapua outclassed San Sebastian with a 25-20, 25-23, 25-18 victory.
02:35 Sophomore Super Roxy De La Cruz exploded for 18 points to lead the Lady Cardinals.
02:41 After that, LPU needed four sets to dispatch San Beda 25-17, 13-25, 25-15, 25-21.
02:51 Joanne Duguna was the player of the match as she finished with a team-high 17 points.
03:00 On Wednesday, JRU left EAC 25-20, 25-20, 25-23.
03:07 Kyle La Hazareno led the attack of the Lady Bombers with 13 points.
03:13 After that, Coach Oliver Almadro's comeback in the NCAA was a success with a win over the Arellano in the match 16-25, 25-17, 25-17, 25-17.
03:27 Coach O was a Netran alumnus and became a player and assistant coach of his former mentor, Nes Pamilar.

04:07 And then San Sebastian finally got their groove.
04:10 Direk Direk Kat Santos really putting on a show.
04:14 Angel Habacon sa kabila, Clay and Abraham also stepping up.
04:18 Maraming mga bagong pangalan yung heroes na antabayanan natin.
04:21 But that was one of my favorite games dahil back and forth yung laro.
04:24 What about player? Which player to you caught your attention and you were like, "Wow, this player has potential"?
04:31 Well, actually, nagpakita na 'to last year, Joe D'Aguino was very impressive for me in their past two wins.
04:39 Talagang siya yung nag-step up yung laro dahil mas malaking responsibility niya.
04:44 And meron din sa si Benilde, her game earlier.
04:48 But siya is next in line na 'to being that dominant and imposing middle blocker.
04:54 Because we know that this is the last year of Mitch Gamit.

05:25 Last April 7, the much-awaited opening ceremony took place with an exciting lineup of matches.
05:39 But perhaps the most anticipated storyline in this chapter of the NCAA features the reigning queens of the league,
05:46 the Benilde Lady Blazers.
05:48 The defending back-to-back champions began their quest for a three-peat
05:53 with an intact core led by setter Cloanne Mondonedo,
05:57 along with high-flyers Gail Pascual
06:00 "Reaching her presence belt here."
06:02 and Jade Hentapa.
06:05 Season 97 MVP, Micah Goh, finally made her return to the court as well.
06:10 However, among Coach Jerry Yee's collection of stars,
06:14 it was Mitch Gamit who shined the brightest.
06:17 "Bigla, bigla sila kumatras. But what a hit from Gamit!"
06:22 "Over the top!"
06:24 "Alam na, alam na na. Aray na, aray na na."
06:26 Gamit was a force to be reckoned with as she top-scored for the Lady Blazers with 10 points.
06:33 The graduating middle blocker led Benilde to their 30th straight victory in the NCAA
06:39 and more importantly, set the tone in their quest to become a dynasty.

09:06 But, alam mo, ton, kasi si Angel was playing very well in the offseason.
