Price of MV Agusta Enduro Veloce not yet available
The MV Agusta Enduro Veloce is a first foray into the off-road motorcycle market, in addition to the limited-edition luxury MV Agusta LXP Orioli, so there is always a more affordable option that takes into account the elitist profile of the Varese brand. As with the firm's other models, it is a 100% Italian-made product, artisanal and oriented towards maximum perfection and performance, but now applied to an adventure motorcycle of high flight and ambitions.
There are no surprises and it features the same three-cylinder engine as the LXP; A block mounting the counter-rotating crankshaft, one of the most special technological solutions on the market, is a system that allows the reduction of inertia and vibrations. It provides the highest competition and greater agility and stability.
It has a capacity of 931 cc, weighs only 57 kg and has extremely compact dimensions. It develops 124 hp at 10,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 102 Nm at 7000 rpm, but it is surprising that 85% of the torque is already delivered at only 3000 rpm. Its behavior is configured with both off-road and asphalt in mind.
The 6-speed transmission comes with Electronically Assisted Shifting (EAS) quick-shift system in version 4.0; This system allows you to shift up and down without using the clutch, but also with the accelerator pedal open in any situation.
As expected from any motorcycle from the Italian brand, the chassis is first class. MV Agusta Enduro Veloce aims for the highest level, starting with a perimeter chassis with a closed double-cradle design, with materials and design designed to strike a balance between stability at high speeds and absorption capacity in off-road use. The subframe is removable for easy maintenance, while the swingarm is made of aluminum.
As for suspensions, rely on Sachs with a 48mm inverted fork adjustable in compression, rebound and preload with 210mm of travel. The rear monoshock has the same path, is supported by linkages and can be adjusted in preload using the remote control. The seat is 870 mm high but can be adjusted to be lowered up to 850 mm. The shape of the seat has been precisely designed to offer great comfort to suit all conditions of use, and its geometry manages to achieve 230 mm of ground clearance for ideal off-road use.
For brakes, go for the Brembo with two Stylema calipers mounted on two 320mm discs; At the rear, a twin-piston caliper does the same with a 265mm disc.
The variety of electronic aids is huge. Thanks to the 6-axis IMU inertial platform that manages valuable data, the MV Agusta Enduro Veloce intervenes very effectively in real time with different aids that adapt to preferences and different riding conditions and can choose between four riding modes.
With these, you can have eight different levels of traction control, five for road, two for off-road, and one for rain.
