The brand has significantly revamped the Indian Scout Bobber, one of the bespoke motorcycles on the market that combines aggressive and original aesthetics with the biggest attitude and new user-focused technologies.
New engine for Indian Scout Bobber and bike components
Like the rest of the family, it benefits from a liquid-cooled V-twin engine called SpeedPlus 1250, which increases its displacement to 1250 cc (previously 1130 cc), with a power output of 79 kW (106 hp). (only compatible with license A) and a maximum torque of 108 Nm. It is managed by a six-speed gearbox.
The iconic twin-cylinder is housed in a new multi-tube steel chassis, around which an offering has been built that lives up to what one would expect from an Indian motorcycle. Suspensions consist of a conventional 41mm front fork with 120mm of travel and dual rear shock absorbers with preload adjustment reduced to 51mm of travel, giving it an even lower and lower appearance. For brakes, there is a 298 mm disc on each axle, with a dual-piston caliper at the front and a single-piston caliper at the rear.
The seat height has also decreased slightly compared to its siblings, dropping to 649 mm, while its dry weight is 237 kg.
It is a version that surprises with its 'long and low' attitude, thanks to the lowered rear suspension mentioned above. As its surname suggests, it is a model that gets rid of unnecessary things and presents itself as a pure and original option. We find its own details, such as the cut-out fenders. The seat reinforces the minimalist philosophy of bobbe aesthetics without compromising comfort. The handlebar allows you to adopt a position with absolute control of the situation, for which we find mirrors fixed at the ends as standard.
Standard: LED lights, analogue instruments and economical driving warnings. Color Black Metallic. It is the cheapest in Scout Classic, Scout Bobber and Sport Scout. They come with new LED lights, analogue gauges with new fuel levels and economical driving warnings.
Limited: Adds traction control, cruise control, a USB charging port, and three riding modes (Sport, Standard, and Touring) with different throttle response. Colour: Metallic Spirit Blue.
Limited+Tech: Adds a circular TFT touchscreen with turn-by-turn navigation, configurable times, and Ride Command connectivity system with built-in GPS with route stats.
