00:00 In the beginning of the 8th Juz, Allah explains how to strengthen our faith, we need knowledge. And without faith, it will cause us to be ignorant.
00:25 Let's follow the discussion of what is meant by being ignorant in the Quran in this episode.

01:46 How are you ladies and gentlemen? We meet again in My Quran Time, Quran Salat Unfaq today.
01:51 We would like to discuss two verses from the 8th Juz, Surah Al-An'am, page 142.
02:00 This time we will read verses 111 and 112 together with Fadhil Ustaz, Team Bizi Ali.
02:06 Alhamdulillah, how are you?
02:08 Alhamdulillah, we have entered the 8th Juz this time.
02:11 Alhamdulillah, we are with the Istiqamah group today.
02:19 We pray that our Istiqamah reaches the end of the Quran.
02:24 We will repeat and repeat and hopefully, by learning to read the Tadabur of the Quran,
02:30 we will understand the message from Allah that we bring in our prayer and in our daily life.
02:38 We pray to Allah, Allah grants His knowledge with His wisdom with the prayer of Allah,
02:43 [Prayer in Arabic]
02:52 We will see what are the summary of verses 111 and 112.
02:57 Starting from the 111th verse, starting from our 8th Juz,
03:01 [Prayer in Arabic]
03:07 Following from Surah Al-An'am, verse 112,
03:10 [Prayer in Arabic]
03:18 We will read verses 111 and 112 with Fadhil Ustaz, Team Bizi Ali.
03:22 Alhamdulillah, thank you Fadhil Ustaz Fazrul.
03:25 Dear viewers, dear friends and loved ones, Alhamdulillah.
03:28 We are grateful to Allah SWT for allowing us to be together with Al-Quran.
03:33 It is the most valuable thing in our life when we spend our time for Al-Quran.
03:43 It is not a coincidence, but we are striving to strengthen ourselves.
03:50 As Ustaz Faz said, we must have an exercise to train our soul.
03:54 If we don't have an exercise, how can we have fun with Al-Quran?
03:58 Maybe the first 2-3 days we feel tired, but eventually we will have fun.
04:04 We will feel love.
04:06 Even when we are together with Al-Quran, we feel satisfied and not tired.
04:12 That is a good sign. InshaAllah.
04:14 Let's focus on these two verses.
04:17 Let's listen to the first two verses from verses 111 and 112.
04:24 A'udhu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem.
04:28 [Quran Recitation]
04:56 [Quran Recitation]
04:59 [Quran Recitation]
05:02 [Quran Recitation]
05:05 [Quran Recitation]
05:08 [Quran Recitation]
05:11 [Quran Recitation]
05:14 [Quran Recitation]
05:35 [Quran Recitation]
05:39 [Quran Recitation]
06:08 [Quran Recitation]
06:34 [Quran Recitation]
06:36 We have read from verses 111 and 112.
06:40 Starting from the 8th verse, the continuation from the previous verses.
06:44 Where Allah tells us about how faith cannot be based on negative emotions.
06:50 Positive emotions, okay.
06:52 Because the source of emotions is on the third layer in our heart,
06:56 which is 'afidah' or 'fuad'.
06:58 We have 'sadar', the first layer.
07:00 The second is 'qalb'.
07:02 The third layer is 'fuad'.
07:04 And the fourth layer is 'lub'
07:06 When we read the Quran,
07:08 we meditate,
07:10 and we take the 'tazkirah',
07:12 we get a reminder for ourselves,
07:14 a feeling of being hit by the verse.
07:16 We feel that we have to do a 'pembaikan' for example.
07:20 That is a sign that the verse of the Quran has entered the fourth layer in ourselves.
07:26 And our activity to meditate on the Quran,
07:29 to receive the message,
07:31 is a daily practice that needs to be done
07:33 to strengthen our 'otod iman'
07:35 and the 'otod' in 'lub'
07:37 to shine and brighten our lives
07:41 daily.
07:42 Allah tells us in the 111th verse
07:45 to reveal the truth in the hearts of the polytheists.
07:49 [Al-Quran 111]
08:00 If we send down angels,
08:02 this is actually a challenge.
08:04 They are still responding to their emotions,
08:06 challenging God,
08:08 and then they say something
08:10 insulting without knowledge.
08:13 So these emotions,
08:15 if we mention them in our interactions with the truth in the Quran,
08:20 Allah says,
08:21 "If we send down angels,
08:23 the dead can speak,
08:25 [Al-Quran 111]
08:29 We gather on them every thing,
08:34 gathered in the heavens,
08:36 gather angels,
08:37 gather the dead,
08:38 the dead can speak,
08:39 [Al-Quran 111]
08:41 they will not believe in Allah.
08:45 So Allah reveals this thing,
08:47 after we read the verses of the Quran,
08:49 from verse 107 to verse 110,
08:51 to understand that the revelation is because they are not sincere to the truth.
08:57 When the truth is revealed,
08:59 or when it is returned,
09:02 by challenging the Prophet,
09:05 insulting the Prophet,
09:06 insulting the Prophet,
09:07 then the effect of that is,
09:09 no matter how great a miracle they are given,
09:12 they will not believe,
09:14 except if Allah gives permission from Allah.
09:19 What is the lesson here?
09:20 The lesson is,
09:21 in our lives,
09:22 do not challenge.
09:23 Do not challenge the faith.
09:25 I will read the Quran,
09:26 if I am put in my account with millions of dollars,
09:32 or my child is someone who gets 8A or 10A in his studies,
09:37 then I will practice the content of the Quran.
09:41 Such words are challenging to Allah.
09:45 So Allah says,
09:46 people like this,
09:47 they have an issue,
09:49 the issue is,
09:50 they want new proof,
09:53 then they will believe.
09:54 But the proof that is already there,
09:55 the Quran is already proven,
09:57 it is already great,
09:58 it is seen in the clouds,
09:59 seen in the food,
10:00 all of this is proof of Allah's greatness.
10:03 Why do we need to look for new proof,
10:05 challenging Allah,
10:07 and also in the time of the Prophet,
10:09 challenging the Messenger.
10:10 So the short conclusion that Allah gave at the end of verse 111,
10:15 وَلَا كِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ يَجْحَلُونَ
10:18 "But most of them are ignorant."
10:18 "But most of them are ignorant."
10:18 In fact,
10:20 what is the majority of them?
10:22 Allah says,
10:23 يَجْحَلُونَ
10:24 "They are always in a state of ignorance."
10:28 And ignorant,
10:29 not because they do not know from the point of knowledge,
10:31 for example,
10:32 maybe they have studied until they have a license,
10:34 have a master,
10:35 have a PhD,
10:36 they can talk about various topics in this world,
10:39 but what is meant is
10:40 يَجْحَلُونَ
10:41 we have seen in Surah Al-Baqarah,
10:42 verse 67,
10:43 and many in the Quran,
10:44 ignorant is,
10:46 even though there is knowledge,
10:47 but they cannot practice with knowledge.
10:49 They are affected by feelings,
10:52 affected by their egos,
10:53 so that their feelings and egos are overruled,
10:56 deviated from knowledge,
10:58 and finally, they cannot control their emotions,
11:00 challenge the Prophet,
11:01 stubborn,
11:02 angry,
11:03 insulting,
11:04 then that is the sign of an ignorant person,
11:06 even though there is a master,
11:08 what is the term,
11:10 who is a bit of a mess.
11:12 Meaning,
11:13 many PhDs are wrapped up in their scroll,
11:16 but they do not ensure that
11:19 that person is not affected by ignorance.
11:22 We ask Allah to always protect us
11:24 from becoming ignorant.
11:25 We will take a short break.
11:27 Quran Time, Quran Salat and Fahad.
11:29 [Music]
11:40 [Music]
11:59 [Music]
12:17 [Music]
12:37 [Music]
12:56 [Music]
13:08 [Music]
13:28 [Music]
13:48 [Music]
14:08 [Music]
14:28 [Music]
14:33 [Music]
14:36 [Music]
14:46 [Music]
14:56 [Music]
15:14 We are back in Quran Time, Quran Salat and Fahad.
15:16 We will start with the eighth verse,
15:18 in the 111th verse,
15:20 where Allah explains that
15:22 there is a person in this life
15:24 who challenges Allah,
15:26 waiting for new strange proofs
15:28 from Allah,
15:30 then he will believe.
15:32 But, apparently, Allah states,
15:34 "They will not believe
15:36 except with the permission of Allah."
15:40 Because the attitude to challenge,
15:42 to be stubborn, arrogant
15:44 and not willing to accept,
15:46 to listen to the truth,
15:48 will prevent the heart
15:50 and also the sight
15:52 of the truth.
15:54 And in the previous verse,
15:56 Allah states, "Allah wills
15:58 "And Allah wills them to be in a state of confusion
16:00 "and wills them to be in a state of confusion
16:02 "and wills them to be in a state of confusion
16:04 "and wills them to be in a state of confusion."
16:06 So, this is one way,
16:08 when we have someone who is stubborn,
16:10 someone who invites us to go
16:12 to a good program,
16:14 if we are busy, we are busy,
16:16 but if we can, we can spend time,
16:18 and when we listen to that,
16:20 we can train our faith,
16:22 which is the heart
16:24 and also our sight,
16:26 to be submissive to Allah.
16:28 "Kerdil"
16:30 in front of the verse of the Quran.
16:32 "Kerdil" in front of Allah
16:34 for us to worship or pray.
16:36 For example, when we are called to pray.
16:38 Because if we show
16:40 that we are big,
16:42 then Allah states,
16:44 "These people will not believe."
16:46 "They will not believe
16:48 "except that Allah wills
16:50 "and most of them are ignorant."
16:52 "and most of them are ignorant."
16:54 "and most of them are ignorant."
16:56 Which is always following
16:58 the feelings and causing
17:00 the existing knowledge,
17:02 which is high,
17:04 maybe 40-50 years old,
17:06 but the behavior is like a child.
17:08 Children, if they want to play,
17:10 they say this is a game, for example,
17:12 they want to, if they can't,
17:14 they will cry, whine,
17:16 because they may feel
17:18 that this is a game.
17:20 Or if this is a knife,
17:22 they want to because
17:24 they are people who follow feelings.
17:26 But that is a small child, we understand that.
17:28 Don't let a big child,
17:30 who has already returned,
17:32 who is already mature,
17:34 but still behaving like a child,
17:36 because "Wa laqina'akhtarahum yajjalun"
17:38 This is a big lesson
17:40 for us to always control our feelings,
17:42 our desires,
17:44 and we need to be instilled
17:46 with the correct knowledge
17:48 from Allah.
17:50 Talking about this ignorance,
17:52 verse 112 explains,
17:54 repeats, explains again
17:56 what happened to Prophet Musa.
17:58 When Prophet Musa wanted to teach people
18:00 about the knowledge of faith,
18:02 there were his people,
18:04 his followers, who were very arrogant,
18:06 who had a lot of questions,
18:08 stubborn, arrogant, etc.
18:10 And Prophet Musa once prayed
18:12 "I have seven surahs of Al-Baqarah,
18:14 I protect from being
18:16 an ignorant person,
18:18 who follows his feelings,
18:20 because Prophet Musa was known
18:22 as a person who was expert in Torah,
18:24 but when he followed his feelings,
18:26 it was dangerous, even though
18:28 he had a high knowledge like Prophet Musa.
18:30 Verse 112,
18:32 Allah explains how to manage
18:34 when we are facing
18:36 people who
18:38 are opposing or challenging us.
18:40 We will listen to the recitation.
18:42 I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
18:44 And thus have We made for every people
18:54 an enemy and a devil,
19:00 mankind and jinn,
19:06 that they may inspire one another
19:14 to one another,
19:16 and then speak in a way of deceit.
19:26 And if your Lord had willed,
19:30 they would have done it,
19:34 but they would not have hidden it.
19:58 I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
20:00 Verse 112, Allah explains how to manage
20:02 when we are facing people who are opposing or challenging us,
20:04 mankind and jinn,
20:06 that they may inspire one another to one another.
20:08 This is the truth for the Prophet,
20:10 in his words,
20:12 in the struggle for faith,
20:14 the struggle for faith for the companions.
20:16 They must know that
20:18 "And thus have We made for every prophet,
20:20 Allah made an enemy
20:22 among the devils,
20:24 among the devils,
20:26 among the humans,
20:28 among the jinn."
20:30 This is Allah's promise
20:32 that in the truth,
20:34 there will be people opposing the Prophet.
20:36 And the opposition is from two types,
20:38 from the humans themselves
20:40 and also from the jinn.
20:42 And the evil humans are called the devils,
20:44 and the evil jinn are called the devils.
20:46 So, the Satan is not only from the jinn,
20:48 but also from the humans.
20:50 If we ask him,
20:52 "Let's read the Quran,"
20:54 he will say, "Reading the Quran,
20:56 reading the Quran is nothing."
20:58 That is the Satan.
21:00 But let's not call him that.
21:02 Because we have understood,
21:04 we will keep him.
21:06 And later, he will say, "Oh, you are cursing me."
21:08 He will reply.
21:10 So, finally, we go back to the verse number 108.
21:12 "Do not curse, do not use emotion
21:14 when we convey the truth."
21:16 Although we know that
21:18 if we say that something is keeping us away from Allah,
21:20 that is called shatana in Arabic.
21:22 It means keeping someone away from Allah.
21:24 So, "Shayati nal insi wal jinn"
21:26 are humans and jinn
21:28 who are trying to keep us away
21:30 from the words of Allah.
21:32 And why is it important
21:34 that Allah tells us about the enemy?
21:36 As we have discussed before,
21:38 if we are in a country,
21:40 we know that there is an enemy from outside,
21:42 there is a problem from outside,
21:44 all the people of a country
21:46 will unite.
21:48 At that time,
21:50 a flag will be raised,
21:52 and then we will discuss
21:54 how we will solve the problem
21:56 because the enemy wants to attack
21:58 or there is an economic challenge
22:00 that is being attacked from outside.
22:02 When we realize that we have an enemy,
22:04 but when we do not realize, what happens?
22:06 We are the enemy.
22:08 The people themselves,
22:10 in a country, in an organization,
22:12 if it is not clear that we have an enemy,
22:14 then they will be the enemy themselves.
22:16 Because they feel like,
22:18 "What are we doing?"
22:20 It looks like they are relaxed.
22:22 So, in the end,
22:24 the potential is used to find the wrongdoers,
22:26 to fight against
22:28 the people in one organization
22:30 or one country.
22:32 So, in this verse 112,
22:34 Allah tells us about the priority.
22:36 The priority of the Prophet's struggle
22:38 in this faith is
22:40 to face the real enemy.
22:42 Not the lack of self-confidence.
22:44 Because the lack of self-confidence
22:46 among the companions,
22:48 there is a weakness.
22:50 We also have weaknesses.
22:52 Maybe we are slow, fast,
22:54 doing our job well or not.
22:56 But we should not demonize
22:58 ourselves to the people.
23:00 Because we say,
23:02 "Okay, I am your enemy."
23:04 Then the people are our enemies.
23:06 In the end, the job is not done.
23:08 Then what happens?
23:10 There is an enemy outside.
23:12 So, what is the lesson for us?
23:14 Allah tells us here,
23:16 there is an enemy for every Prophet.
23:18 The companions also know that there is an enemy
23:20 among the people who are far away
23:22 from Allah, among the jinn and humans.
23:24 What does it mean among humans?
23:26 We know that it is the people who are
23:28 led to evil.
23:30 How about the devil among the jinn?
23:32 That is what we do in the morning
23:34 when we are sleeping.
23:36 We want to wake up at 6.20am.
23:38 He feels like he is very tired.
23:40 But it is okay.
23:42 For example, on Sunday,
23:44 or today, we give them a chance.
23:46 Yesterday, we woke up early and were surprised.
23:48 So, it is the jinn
23:50 who try to distance us
23:52 from Allah.
23:54 And what do the jinn and humans do?
23:56 "Yu'hi ba'duhum ila ba'd."
23:58 That is, they whisper to each other.
24:00 Allah uses the word "Yu'hi".
24:02 If the Prophet sees a revelation,
24:04 they get a whisper
24:06 from their group
24:08 to make propaganda.
24:10 So, the term "scam"
24:12 is the term that
24:14 is still used.
24:16 It is planted in the news,
24:18 on the internet,
24:20 that the Quran, Islam,
24:22 as terrorists, etc.
24:24 All of that is propaganda from who?
24:26 "Shayatin al-insi wal-jinn."
24:28 It happened during the time of the Prophet.
24:30 There was propaganda among the poets
24:32 at that time as their media.
24:34 And it still exists until now.
24:36 So, we should be careful
24:38 about this challenge.
24:40 And more than that,
24:42 we should know that sometimes
24:44 they are certain.
24:46 Sometimes, the way they present is beautiful.
24:48 Allah says, "Zuhrufal qawli hurura."
24:50 The way they speak
24:52 is very beautiful
24:54 that some of us
24:56 may be amazed.
24:58 Let's bring to the word of choice today.
25:00 We will see.
25:02 The word is, "Walaqina akhtaruhum yajjahalun."
25:04 "Yajjahalun" is from the word "Jahila"
25:06 "Jahil" means "ignorant".
25:08 "Tidak tahu" means
25:10 "not aware of the greatness of Allah."
25:12 "Sihinga mengikut perasaan"
25:14 "to follow the feelings"
25:16 "to prioritize one's own feelings"
25:18 "rather than to prioritize Allah in life."
25:20 We will take a break now.
25:22 Quran Time, Quran Salat.

29:41 Alhamdulillah, we are back with Quran Time.
29:44 Quran Salat and Infah.
29:46 Alhamdulillah, we have heard the
29:48 "Kupasan Tarabuh" from Ayat 111
29:50 and also a part from 112.
29:52 And we understand what is
29:54 meant by "Shaitan".
29:56 Amongst the people,
29:58 hopefully, we all can
30:00 take care and always
30:02 recognize who is our enemy.
30:04 Because
30:06 how Allah SWT
30:08 has declared to us all in the Quran,
30:10 "Make him as our enemy,
30:12 that is the devil."
30:14 His work is always
30:16 to make us anxious,
30:18 to ignite the fire of
30:20 enmity and to
30:22 weaken us.
30:24 So, that is his work,
30:26 our work, let us not be
30:28 overpowered.
30:30 As usual, today we want to
30:32 see the words
30:34 for us to read
30:36 together from
30:38 Ayat 111 and 112.
30:40 InshaAllah, we will see
30:42 in our slides today.
30:44 That is Ayat 112.
30:46 "Wa kathalika
30:48 ja'alna likulli
30:50 nabiyyin aduwan
30:52 shayatin al-insi
30:54 wal-jinni yuhi
30:56 ba'duhum ila ba'din
30:58 zuhrufal qawli urura."
31:00 Look at the first paragraph.
31:02 "Aduwan shayatin
31:04 al-insi wal-jinni."
31:06 "Wa kathalika ja'alna likulli nabiyyin."
31:08 "Aduwan shayatin
31:10 al-insi wal-jinni."
31:12 "Aduwan shayatin
31:14 al-insi wal-jinni."
31:16 "Aduwan shayatin
31:18 al-insi wal-jinni."
31:20 "Aduwan shayatin
31:22 al-insi wal-jinni."
31:24 "Aduwan shayatin
31:26 al-insi wal-jinni."
31:28 "Aduwan shayatin
31:30 al-insi wal-jinni."
31:32 "Aduwan shayatin
31:34 al-insi wal-jinni."
31:36 "Aduwan shayatin
31:38 al-insi wal-jinni."
31:40 "Aduwan shayatin
31:42 al-insi wal-jinni."
31:44 "Aduwan shayatin
31:46 al-insi wal-jinni."
31:48 Okay, that was the first one.
31:50 "Aduwan"
31:52 "Tanwen" meets the letter "Shin".
31:54 "Tanwen" meets the letter "Shin".
31:56 What is the rule?
31:58 The rule is
32:00 "Ikhfaq haqiqi".
32:02 "Ikhfaq haqiqi"
32:04 is when the "Tanwen"
32:06 meets the letter "Waw".
32:08 The "Nun" meets the letter "Tanwen"
32:10 is "Ikhfaq", hidden.
32:12 The "Nun" is hidden
32:14 by the letter "Shin".
32:16 If we say
32:18 "Aduwan",
32:20 it means "Aduwan".
32:22 But if we read "Aduwan",
32:24 we still
32:26 keep the "Nun" in the "Runah".
32:28 The "Nun" is extended.
32:30 Okay, but
32:32 the tip of our tongue
32:34 does not meet the "Nun" extension.
32:36 "Aduwan", but
32:38 we read "Aduwan
32:40 Syah".
32:42 We should say "Waw"
32:44 instead of "Wa".
32:46 "Aduwa", we keep
32:48 the "Nun" in the "Runah".
32:50 And also,
32:52 we stand by to hide
32:54 the "Nun" on the side of the "Shin".
32:56 The "Shin" extension
32:58 is in the middle of the tongue.
33:00 "Shah" is the middle of the tongue.
