Scary moment tyre flies off woman's car while driving down motorway

This is the scary moment a motorist's tyre went flying on a motorway.

Dashcam video shows the car suddenly becoming bumpy on the road before the tyre appears ahead - rolling down along the central reservation.

Daphne Creemers, 20, a holiday park employee from Maastricht, the Netherlands, said the reason for the issue remains a mystery.

She had just changed her winter tyres to summer tyres a few days prior, meaning they should have been in top shape.
