00:06 When did you start the bar, when did it open?
00:09 We took the keys of what was then Lloyds Bank in October, we had the quickest turnaround ever and opened the second week of December.
00:20 Do you have other bars or is this your first one?
00:22 No this is our first.
00:24 And why?
00:26 So we saw a massive gap in the market here in Morley and just thought, you know what, we're local people and we live in the next village on, there's a huge gap that needs to be filled.
00:39 After Covid we just felt like, the whole hospitality industry just seems to be running on a day by day and we thought we wanted to change that and bring the fun back to hospitality, to going out and in particular to Morley.
00:51 Have you enjoyed your experience so far?
00:53 Yes and no, it's been a huge roller coaster, it's more than I could have ever expected in the sense of more work, but I love seeing people have fun, I love seeing people come through the door, I love people's reaction to the bar as they come in, the staff are perfect, so I'm really enjoying it in that sense.

01:16 What was it you were doing before? Is this a complete change around to what you were doing before?
01:21 Yeah, we have another business, a property development business that we do, build small luxury developments. We've always wanted a bar but we have three children, twin girls and a boy, so the timing was never right, but the girls are of an age now that they can all chip into the family business.
01:42 Again, after Covid we just thought, you know what, the timing's right, let's do it, let's run it as a family and see where we go with it.
