Meet Preeda Tumkaew, of Samui Thai Street Food, who has been announced as the first of 20 food vendors at the huge new Cambridge Street Collective food hall in Sheffield city centre, which is due to open this May. Video by Cambridge Street Collective.

00:15 Well, I used to have a Muay Thai gym in Jersey.
00:19 And because of COVID and stuff, so we
00:22 have to sell the business.
00:23 And Muay Thai gyms, I cook a lot for my students, friends,
00:27 and family.
00:28 It's the same thing again.
00:29 So they say, you know, the food is tasty.
00:32 Why don't you open something like this?
00:34 So that's where I started.
00:36 This is Tom Yum.
00:38 So we make this from the scratch.
00:40 We got lime leaves, lemongrass, and galangal.
00:45 And everything is made from scratch.
00:46 It's fresh.
00:48 And move to the next one is Pad Thai.
00:50 So this is tamarind sauce.
00:51 They make it homemade, made from scratch.
00:54 Take two or three hours to make a sauce.
00:56 So everything is homemade.
