00:00 in the Vair B.A. Pro, so she's got some confidence,
00:02 but she's also nursing a bit of an injury picked up
00:05 in Feverbrunn on her knee.
00:06 So it's gonna be interesting to see how Zuza
00:09 kind of takes today on.
00:11 She's definitely, she's not in contention for the title,
00:14 but she would love to have an extreme Vair B.A. title.
00:16 We are underway with Ski Women here, 2024.
00:20 - So Zuza is pushing out of start one,
00:23 heading over to find her first bit of airtime,
00:26 test that knee out, and looking pretty solid there.
00:30 - Yeah, this is the part that I skied this morning,
00:33 and this is really good snow,
00:34 and I think she's showing that skiing super well.
00:36 The knee looks good to me.
00:39 - Yeah, well, she's been strapped up by Sybille Blanjon,
00:42 the best physio on the mountain,
00:45 and she's looking super solid there,
00:46 getting some more airtime in
00:47 and skiing super fluidly between features.
00:50 - Such strong ski technique from the Polish rider
00:53 as she sneaks through the side door here
00:56 and right off the nose of that air, Zuza stomping.
00:59 All right, well, kicking things off with a bang here
01:01 for Zuzana Vitek and a chunky feature lined up below her.
01:05 - Coming up to find her takeoff.
01:09 Perfect landing, riding out pretty straight there.
01:12 That was beautiful.
01:13 - All right, well, one more feature underneath,
01:18 and Zuza opting around that one.
01:20 She flew off that one in the earlier event this year.
01:24 So Elizabeth, you were talking about the snow.
01:26 It looked pretty good there for Zuzana.
01:28 - Yeah, I think that she made it look super good
01:29 and really easy, really lacing that turn
01:31 and being patient in the turn.
01:34 She's still going.
01:34 - She is still going way out to the rider's left.
01:37 Another big dog and Zuzana stomping at the very bottom.
01:41 We haven't seen that come into play very often here
01:44 on the Petit Back.
01:45 She's got a bit of a swerve
01:47 to make it over to the finish gate,
01:49 but handling it like a pro.
01:51 So no real evidence, at least from our seats,
01:54 of a sore knee there for Zuzana.
01:56 - What an impressive run.
01:57 She seems happy.
02:03 - She's got a big smile on her face.
02:04 - And you know, she wasn't sure if she was gonna compete,
02:06 and I think she definitely took the right decision.
02:09 She was riding so well, and yeah, the knee looks good.
02:12 - All right, Elizabeth, run us through this replay
02:14 as we see the top section of Zuza's run.
02:16 She started strong and continued
02:18 with that same level of intensity.
02:21 - Yeah, I think she started out kind of testing the snow,
02:23 you know, like taking those turns easy,
02:25 and then the run just got better and better
02:27 with like higher and higher cliffs.
02:29 And you can see that in judging criteria as well.
02:32 - That was quite a flat landing
02:34 that she took pretty well there,
02:35 and just managed to pack so many big features into her run.
02:39 - And you could see that, as you said, Ellie,
02:41 with the line score there,
02:43 just jacked right to the top of the scale.
02:45 There was not really anything that she missed or went around
02:49 and then that, what a great way to finish.
02:51 That's a really unique line choice,
02:53 unique feature choice for Zuzana.
02:54 She's got to get on that left leg to get into the finish,
02:57 and she is stoked.
02:59 Well, here we go.
03:02 The judges are going to set the bar for the day
03:04 in Ski Women with this score.
03:06 Little kiss for that right leg.
03:08 Big thanks, as you said, Anna, for Sibylle to strap her up.
03:12 We see the score dropping now,
03:13 and it is going way up 88.67 for Zuzana Vitek.
03:18 So she's done her part now,
