Case of man charged with murdering pregnant girlfriend transferred to High Court

The Magistrate's Court in Sungai Besar on Thursday (March 21) ordered the case of a 21-year-old man charged with murdering a pregnant woman to be transferred to the Klang High Court.

00:31 student was charged with murdering Nur Anissa Abdul Wahab, aged 21, at Jalan Sungai Limau
00:38 between 8.30pm on May 22nd and 8am on May 23rd last year. The charge was framed under
00:45 Section 302 of the Penal Code which provides the death sentence upon conviction. It was
00:53 reported that an argument over hiding an out-of-wedlock pregnancy was believed to be the reason the
00:58 victim was stabbed and later set on fire by her boyfriend.
